old school never gets wrong

saw him in France in my hometown. He and his band played like it was the very very final call from the beginning to the end or like someone promised them a zillion bucks. They were on fire it was legendary. Those guys are the reason why the have invented concert and touring. Over this they are Badass like the vilain guys in your best Western movie. They play and preach the rawest blues to the fullest. Once they start playing feels like being in Southside Chicago when Detroit was still releasing bad ass whips and ever longer sparling rollin' land yachts. Iceberg Slim was still running the streets somewhere I guess then. And Trick Baby. And Mama Black Widow. And Mama Black Widow.

Magic has gone but his soul lives on

Saw Magic a few years ago in Woonsocket RI, one of the best old blues men ever.
