Definitely learned a thing or 2 about how I can go about using this stuff. The aluminum foil trick will save me a lot of putty, thanks!

Hello, query: When this clay dries completely, is it hard like plastic? or hard as a stone? Or like a ceramic that if it is hit, it breaks? Withstands blows like a fall or simply breaks like any ceramic.

Thanks for the question. It gets pretty darn hard. As a test I drop the piece from 8 feet and I did not break. It is more like a Hard plastic.

How heavy is this material? Can you use it to cover chicken wire sculpture and still be lightweight?

Thanks for your question. The two-part Apoxsee‘s are pretty dense and heavy. I would recommend some thing like Foam-Mo. It is a light weight Clay when it dries it is super light and flexible

There are no California warnings on the container. It does say caution wash hands after each mixing with soap and warm water. I would wear gloves when mixing the two parts together.

Whoa, how long does it take to mix the resin and hardener together?!

Thanks for your comment. Depends on how big the pieces are. I’ve done ping-pong size ball in about three minutes. Small as a size the quicker the mix. I rely on a nice even tone from the two colors.

包書膠 Thanks for your question. It depends how much Hardner you put in it. It is very versatile because you make the choice by how much Hardner you put in the resin.
