It is interesting to watch these. I have three of these author's book waiting to be read. Getting to watch them helps me know what to expect and I am excited for their books. Although I have to say after watching this it really makes me respect Rothfuss, Sanderson and Butcher. They have a way of speaking that really pulls you in and I am finding a lot of authors struggle to do that in these types of videos. I wonder if it is the teachers in them. (Though now I am not sure if Butcher has ever been a teacher...)

For Caraval and Legendary, Donattella was more interesting than Scarlett.

Enough about race. Doesn’t make your story any less mediocre. It must be awkward for Sara Hanover to sit between the two race baiters lol

Being about a different race or culture doesn’t make it any better or worse. If you need to continue to bring up race while talking about your book then you are either insecure or an idiot. Putting an author note in the back of your book because its message went over people’s heads says more about you then the reader.

The fact he says "Next Question!" As if there is nothing more to say about what is new in this genre other than "It has brown people in it now." is astounding. It just shows their true colors. No pun intended... though it does fit the creative skin of the race-baiters. Again, no pun intended.

Their stories are NYT Best Sellers lmao. They’re talking about what sets their books apart from previous fantasy, which was made up of entirely white people. Hopefully you’ve learned in the years since you’ve posted this comment.
