Your kit opening reviews are so good. Many reviewers spend 1/2 the time showing them talking and only a few minutes showing the kit sprues.

I remember actually seeing this ship in Oslo when it stopped off in Norway. It's hard to really put into words just how massive this thing is, but I can say I'm glad it's on our side...

Glad I got to visit Andy’s Hobby HHQ while I was in Phoenix last week. Too bad it was on a Thursday and I missed you Andy. At least I was able to buy a few kits to bring back to Wisconsin with me! I managed to get one of the kits from that huge collection afterall, LOL!

WOW WOW WOW !! One of the last ships I built was the 1/720 Revell Massachusetts (from the 70s), this is leaps and bounds above the old kits.

Not sure if it's from the camera zoom, but those look like aome thick gates on some really small yet chunky parts .... Ill wait for reviews and builds ro come out.

Hopefully it will be in the UK soon. Nice to compare it with my ww2 1/700 battleships

Yup E2 Hawkeye...wow .1/700 has come light-years.. Remember the old sky wave kits? My cats hated them...lol

just received the 1/48 F4U by Magic Factory that I'll be starting very soon. If that build goes well, I'll look at acquiring this kit

This will be amazing. What's better is that, over time, someone will come out with more PE for this kit. E-2C props. UH60s. Additional aircraft. Railings. The list could go on. This could built into an excellent model. The kit itself is impressive but the detailing options are almost endless. A lit, detailed hanger bay?

You SHOULD Like This one!!!! Another 'Magic Factory' product.... a VERY Fine model!!! NOTE: I have done a review of this as well, but I want to mention, "BIG TIME" that there are these little spurs on the Flight Deck (FD), they are actually chutes for unexploded ordinance. So DON'T Cut those little chutes OFF!!

I built the 1/350 John f Kennedy and spent a zillion hours putting on decals. I’d hate to do the 1/700 scale.

I'd wait awhile and see some builds on this companies kits. Seems a little " off " ? it might be 1/700 but, it looks overly simple and not refined ? First glance it looks like a 1980's kit. We'll see if the 1/700 scale guys go for it.

Not really. They get the internet too. Also the Jane's defense publications and other military publications. So they can get the specs on most every piece of equipment just like we do.

Any 3d artist will be able to do something like that with a bunch of publicly available pictures, it's not magic.

Someone actually makes them. Hopefully someone makes the decals to have 80. Sorry folks, but unless they operated during ww2, all my American carriers are USS Enterprise. 'Cuz naming ships after the POTUS only is cool for a few, and "USS Enterprise" dates back a while. Like Revolutionary, or Barbary war era, pretty much our founding.

Any half competent 3d artist will be able to do model like that using publicly available pictures. Will it be 100% acurate? No. Will anyone notice? No. Because they will be using the same pictures to check for errors :)

ARII did a Midway. We need a USS Coral Sea. A better Midway would be nice, but there has never really been a Coral Sea kit.
