In the remake, you can see how Salieri controls Tommy's life. He literally makes Sarah ensure tommy quits drinking just cus he doesn't want the business to suffer. That's some Walter White level manipulation

They do occasionally, like after the "running man" cutscene in the bar, aswell as them celebrating Tommy successfully destroying cars in "Molotov party" and becoming a official member. And throughout the game bottles of liqour are in the meeting room at the bar

Italian chefs are artists, hands down. You should check out Pepe's in free roam to get into the kitchen and see what's cooking on the stoves, looked amazing and very appetizing.

In the original, Morello's goons just cause minor damage to the restaurant in the remake they nearly wipe it off the block, the Tommy guns virtually blast away the whole facade of Pepe's and then they hurl a grenade into the place, starting a fire that probably burnt the whole establishment down.

they remade a whole game but kept the roots the same, its so impressive they made a great game even better in the remake

In 2002 the audio quality was like a hearing it trought a tin can and the graphics where like cardboard, in the remake the audio it's cinema quality and it looks like you could see every hair on his skin, but the humor and the joke are timeless

Voice acting, writing, and graphics are pretty good in the 2002 version, but it's outdated and pales in comparison to the remake. The remake feels like it has much more character to it if that's the right way to say it. Plus, character development is key if you want to care about the characters and the remake does that superbly well and better than the 2002 version

Hello Spätzünder, I'm sorry: In principle, I do not want any video material, that I have recorded and edited, to be used by other channels. I buy the original games (for example on GOG.com), run them via DosBox and spend many hours with recording and editing. Maybe you find websites that have online or emulated versions of these old games. Or you find another channel which is willing to give you his/her material. I hope you understand my point of view and will be able to reach your goals without my material. Thanks and farewell!

Rockstar is owned by Take Two Interactive. Take Two Interactive also owns 2k games, the guys who made the Mafia games. So it's more like Take Two Interactive take notes from what they bought.

A different studio developed GTA DE. Rockstar was just the publisher. If they had to be the one to develop it, it would've completely blew Mafia DE out of the water, no questions asked.

I haven't played the remake but to be honest I prefer the OG 2002 one. Especially the voice actor for Don Salier sounded like a real mobster.

Look, I LOVE the remake, it is hands down one of the best remakes I've ever seen, but the original still had the AMAZING score by Vladimir Simunek, and this remake just has the constant piano music; the entire soundtrack sounds the same. Had the remake kept the original score, I'd call it a masterpiece remake. As is, it's almost perfect

In the remake, pepe appears much more submissive and fearful. In my opinion, this is also much more realistic when dealing with a mafia boss.

Call me crazy. For me, I prefer the 2002 one. From the graphics to the voice over. Feels more fun. The DE feels too much like I'm watching television.

The mafia life can do that to a character like Tommy. He gets less safe as the story progresses & Sal has his reasons. A sloppy person effects the quality of business & Tommy's sharp mind Is an admirable asset.

Idk why but I am more impressed with the 2002 one considering it was 2002 compared to the new one

the orignal character tommy looked much better and had a much better voice. the new one is like too young and has a shitty pretend like low voice. i love the rest of the game but hes just not likable at all now. theres more characters that i like less now, the don also is really not nice now. its a pity. the scene and interaction, it reflects real llife changes tho. now people seem more cold but they dont talk bad in front of u and just give u slime compliments, back in the day people were much kinder but more to the face when denigrating. but maybe its just me thats crazy
