I think this is near perfect. The "thin" body people are complaining about is more of a result of the gappy shoulders and how they carved out his back muscles and the surrounding parts of the shoulders to accommodate for the coat piece. It's not the best, but it's compromise I'm willing to take given how we get both bare arms and the trenchcoat look in one figure. Aside from that, I think people keep forgetting that Hardy's Bane wasn't that big (he was the same as Batman height-wise and his arms weren't nearly that jacked) and I honestly think this figure nailed how he actually looked in the film. Awesome job on the review as always!

Man i like the sculpt and all but what the heck why is he so thin, he should be bulkier and also should be taller even though not accurate to actual height of Tom hardy but to me in order for bane to be intimidating, it needs to be taller!

Oh man you did the comparison of Banes lol nice! Also I do agree the hands do look small on him for some reason also would've been cool if they gave him an alternative mad face like in the movie where you see scenes with him showing anger through his eyes that would've been great. Still really big step in the right direction by Mafex on this figure they really have improved as a company now with these newer figures even with re-released figures being updated greatly

very nice detail, although tom hardy is quite short, i think mafex shouldve made this bane taller at least as tall as joker, and also buffed up his arm more, he looks a bit small compared to batman 3.0, but overall, very nice figure, especially with the jacket on

You’re right! Awesome sculpt detail, this looks fantastic! They should’ve add 2 cups to put between the arms and shoulders. You did an excellent job posing the figure without the coat and now i know that gap could be hidden but over all it still lacks of that upper bulk. Love it with the coat on though! Thanks man

Coat on this figure looks much better. I've got all 3 bane movie masters version and a custom as well. Not sure it's worth me picking this up.

Brandon Keisler Nah, the movie master is bigger. These figures are so expensive now, not worth buying if you don’t really want/need it. Save it for the figures where they knock it out of the park The movie master “bare arms” actually look a lot better than this ones’ bare arms

Looks like Mafex is heading in the right direction now!!!!!

Personally, not a fan of this one. I always preferred Bane’s sleeveless look and this fig looks really awkward without the jacket. And he’s just too small.

Did you pick up one of the custom Banes people did with the movie master Bane with his sleeves on ebay or do you want to build one yourself? This is what I did: Buy this (www.amazon.com/Batman-Knight-Masters-Exclusive-Deluxe/dp/B0086GA5YQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1519777348&sr=8-4&keywords=movie+masters+two+pack) and this (www.amazon.com/Batman-Knight-Masters-Collector-Figure/dp/B006O6F25W/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1519777403&sr=1-1&keywords=movie+masters+bane) and swap out the arms. I did it over a year ago after watching some videos and I couldn't be happier. He looks so much more imposing next to my SH Figuarts Batman and not as short.

The Sentinel Oh wow yeah. Just checked out someone’s custom vid with the vest and the bare arms and it definitely looks more imposing than this Mafex one.

Easy pass mafex should have made a base shirtless torso have the harnes and jacket soft remove able plastic like how storm does the street fighter figs there are no skin caps to hide the butterfly joints man they are dumb.

He is too thin! For crying out loud, we are talking about Bane!!! He looks goof with the coat, but without the coat he looks very bad (looks like a cheap figure).
