This bane is the reason I now went full in MAFEX to just have a definitive DC shelf. If they can make a MAFEX Wonder Woman and most importantly teen titans I’d be over the moon as they’re essential to my dc shelf..along with Kyle Rynder and Power girl

I absolutely LOVE this Bane. The articulation is so fluid and fun. No stiff or loose joints. Just perfect! I try to get Mafex over Mcfarlane whenever possible, they're just better overall figures. Thanks for the review!

Definitely going to order him this weekend! However, he's going into my collection as an addition to my Secret Six...

I'm excited to get this, as it'll be my first ever Mafex figure, plus finally getting a super-poseable Bane in the exact scale I want.

I made a Marvel Legends Bane a while back to put next to my Mafex Batman, but This I just might have to pickup.

Why couldn't Venom be like this?! He is huge but not ridiculously huge.

First appearance Venom in comics is listed as 6'3. Mafex Venom is 6.3 inches. As easy as that.

Great review but I wish you showed him standing with other Mafex villains, all the reviews that keep popping up only ever show him next to Knightfall Bats it's frustrating lol

He is perfect, so good in fact that I canceled the Mcfarlane Knightfall 2-pack and decided to sell all Mcfarlane DC and patiently go only with Mafex/Mezco DC 😊 from now on.

I kinda want a damaged version now so I can pair it with Azbats to recreate the end of Knightfall.

Where can I buy the head that you have on Hush Batman Brad? That really takes it to another level! Great review as always!

Alternate head kindA reminds me of Jim Balent art from KF part 4, the normal head seems based on Graham Nolan.

I don’t like the shoulder joints at all. They ruin his silhouette. Excellent review as always.

Bane is the size that MAFEX Thor should have been. Too bad MAFEX can’t redo their classic Thor figure.

@@s2knightryder umm no. The Thor that Mafex did is based on the mid 60s Jack Kirby version who was depicted as being the same hgt as Cap and Ironman who are both 6'2. Also, Bane is 6'8, modern Thor is 6'6 and not as massive as Bane is. Hopefully we get an updated classic Thor that depicts his 6'6 frame in the near future. We also need more classic comic based Avengers such as the Vision, Hawkeye, Black Panther Yellow jacket, etc.

@@s2knightryder Those reviewers didn't know the height of classic Thor quite simply 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's true 1/12. For me I enjoy the figure since I knew what I was getting.

Great review as always but I would have loved to see more comparisons because he seems a tad small, DC Universe Classic baf Bane is still my default 6 inch scale Bane figure, I wanted to get this one but I’m not sure about the height

I still prefer the dc universe classics bane, i know it lacks the articulation of this but it still looks nicer. I hate the sculpted vest on the mafex, just slightly moving the upper torso and the vest dosent line up with the bottom half and it just dosent look good at all. Easy pass, but each to their own.

Mafex should make a new Venom with a mold like this.

I think the head is bit oversized. Other than that very good.

My biggest complaint is the neck looks weird. Makes him look like hes wearing a muscle suit because of the way they designed his neck being seperate from his body. I still prefer the mcfarlane personally. Mafex stuff is just little too expensive for my taste for what you get. Thanks for review, looks like a great overall figure

Prefer McFarlane, but happy for people who are wanting this guy. Kind of odd the ball joint on his venom glove arm is flesh coloured when it should be black

I’ll go to my grave preferring the LOOK on McFarlane figs. I’ll admit I’ve never had one of these in hand but for the price ??? I’ll take the McFarlane any day

i collect mainly mcfarlane and i love the 2 megafig of bane, but to be honest they are like 2 beautiful statues... while the mafex is a real action figure, much better.

Mcfarlane should stick to statues. Most of his action figures have mediocre articulation

I truly want this figure, but it's not at the top of the priority list. Great review.
