He's sized perfectly. I think the gigantic versions of Bane look goofy. It's like they pulled him right off the cover of Vengeance of Bane! Great review as usual!

Exactly why I picked him up over the Mcf releases. The gigantic proportions really throw me off as in the og knightfall storyline he's just a lil bit taller than Batman and while he is very muscular, his proportions were normal. Glad that this fig can get fudged in with my McFarlane display as well.

Dude I honestly don’t understand any of the hate towards you it’s actually crazy to me you’re by far the best action figure content creator out there imo.

Every damn time

I was very excited for this figure. This is my Bane and how I always picture him. Mafex did not disappoint at all on this one. I’m actually blown away with how simple but fantastic he is with all the little details. Pure perfection imo.❤

This gives me hope for larger marvel figures, fingers crossed for a colossus, juggernaut and a beast!!

Beast isn't that big/large, ,5'11 is his listed hgt. Certain artists just take "artistic" license and draw him bigger than he actually is. John Byrne and the late great George Perez drew him at his correct hgt and drew him the best imo. They never drew him as a hulking character.

@@eduardolamboy4776 well I was mostly referring to Colossus and Juggernaut :P I tossed beast in since he’s a nice girthy boy he has some bulk just not vertically lol. Either way, who wouldn’t love a Mafex beast!? :D

This is a perfect sized Bane for me, not gigantic, not small live action, just perfect

He was Conan in Secret Six and it was AMAZING. One of the best comic runs of all time.

Order from Amiami in Japan, I bought my Bane from them for $92 compared to the $120 Big bad toy store charges.

This is my most anticipated figure of the entire YEAR! My most anticipated TOY of the year! Bane is my favorite Super Villain, and I have been wanting the perfect Bane figure for YEARS! I just got a notification from BBTS that he is about to arrive. When he gets to my door and I open him, I will cry.

They went with the middle ground of Graham Nolan’s more proportionate art and Jim Apparos hairy stocky Bane art. Also Knightfall specifically he didn’t have the red button or the green tube

In the comics Bane and Batman are relatively equal due to them both being extremely smart and good in h2h combat, Bane has broken Batman’s back with and without Venom. Also this is an amazing review like usual, keep up the amazing content

Mafex and Mezco is the way to go to get great definitve versions of Batman and his rogues gallery. Hopw Mafex drops Ventriloquist and Scarface.

Articulation looks good, but the sculpt isn't doing it for me...the proportions just seem off, to my eye. Guess I'm gonna hold onto my McFarlane Multiverse Bane! Not really feeling any of the Mafex stuff, to be honest 🤷‍♀ The Hush Poison Ivy DOES look like the best Ivy figure out there though 👀 That one is definitely tempting...

The previous Knightfall Azbats figure IS the one that defeated Bane, the fully armoured one didnt fight Bane. Also Bane wasnt a Martial artist, it all came from the Venom and his implants

How does he scale with the Neca Batman in the Predator 2 pack?

Size was the only thing I was worried about with this one. Especially after they gave us “Mini Thor” 🙄. Glad to see they have him at what I think is pretty accurate.

"mini" Thor is based on his 60s look when Kirby drew him as being the same hgt as Cap and Ironman who are both 6'2. Wasn't until the 70s-80s, that he was depicted as being 6'6. I'm hoping Mafex revisits Thor at his taller hgt in the near future.

Where do you buy your figures from? it seems like you get new figures before everyone else.

You: Bip bop boop...two seconds and a kick ass pose. Me: 4,002 seconds and a lotta grunting, curse words to get a barely decent, barely past vanilla pose..... sigh.......

how do you afford to buy three of those, i barely scrape by trying to get most of what i want. if you have any budgeting advice that would be appreciated

To skinny I think and ribcage is weird.

Easy pass. The dc universe classics baf bane looks way nicer, yeah it lacks the articulation of mafex, but still. Just my opinion.
