When I was a teenager I used to go to ska (punk) shows and dance until I was drenched with sweat. Now years later after losing that innocence I realize how this style comes from joy and gratitude for life. And im going to bring it back in Thank you for inspiring me.

I used to love to go to shows , saw MADNESS many times . Suggs even got off the stage and skanked with me and my buddies one night . What a work out and so much fun those shows in the early 80s were ...Makes me feel good watching this !

How you got into my feed is unbeknownst to me, but absolutely glad you did!!!! Thank you for the smiles and nostalgic moments that made me who I am today!!!!

From this era, ska was awesome and all encompassing. Mid fifties now with a stick and fused ankle but would love to pogo again, fantastic! Keep that young mind going.

I was in Primary 7 !! This was every school disco. Madness, Bad Manners, The Specials etc Loved it 😍

I have to add this to my workout playlist. It's the best cardio music ever!!!

Great to see the classic ska Moves from the 80 s

that speaking intro gave everyone enough time to hit the dance floor.... and we all hit the dancefloor for this track.... from Skins to little kids lol

What a great Dancer, great music and great location!

Sometimes, KZread just throws you an absolute gem. Loved this. Not just for the music and the dancing and the general I don't give a fuck - i will skank where I want attitude. But also because I spent a few days in Cologne back in 2019 (weirdly enough was there to see a punk show at a place called live music venue iirc) and absolutely fell in love with the place. Great city, great vid. Thank you for sharing.

God I long for the days of Madness, The Untouchables and English Beat. I was fortunate to live in So. Cal. we're ska caught on so had a steady stream of the music. The 90's ska revival with bands like Save Ferris and Reel Big Fish was happening in my own back yard and was glorious.

We met on Rock Zottegem and I managed to arrange a meeting with the boys of Madness after their show. We had a most wonderful time then, and have been friends with Jens ever since. We all grow older, but the Madness stays on us ...Great show Jens !
