She is the most exciting solo singer/guitarist I've listened to since Joni Mitchell.

I think Nick would have been thrilled with this. I can only imagine their blended voices singing this. She has the voice of an angel.

Madison, you are absolutely stunning... this is by far the best rendition of a Nick Drake song I've ever heard. I'm speechless.

This is the sound and expression of an old soul making music. Been around many times.

The way the wind, flowers and machines join in is pure magic.

Can she cover anything and make it less than absolutely incredible and worthy of the original? This is outstanding.

I actually like how the street noise intrudes at the end--as if the impossible magical spell of this song must eventually be broken.

Absolutely beautiful rendition. If Nick Drake had only known how many people his music would touch and inspire he might've stuck around a while longer.

Maybe. I've read so many books of his life that I've come to the conclusion that he had pot-induced schizophrenia, as he displayed those symptoms. If that is true, even had his dream of becoming a known/loved folk artist come true, that would not have saved him.

I almost forget to breathe...so enchanting, haunting is this recording.

I'm a huge Nick Drake fan, and wow she really brings a beautiful feeling to River Man, without pushing too far. Madison keeps a soft rawness to it. Love the sound of the buses in the background.

I thought the same at the front of the song "how can you keep that flamenco style going right through the song..and then in comes the jazz style Nick Drake rhythm " and a beautiful voice"..love the location for the shoot aswell... very Nick Drake...love it!
