Ken is an expert in dealing with small items. The original brooch was like a cheap toy ornament made of beads. After fixing, the brooch has become a valuable jewellery that fits Goblin Queen. Good job!

Ken always wants to do his best. I totally agree that nobody is flawless and one sometimes needs to accept flaws. The fixing of the thighs is pretty good, especially from far.

I also customized my Goblin Queen. For the skin, I used Games Workshop Bugman's Glow as a base, then a mix of Army Painter Fey Pink and Model Color Light Flesh to match the skin on her face and chest. Also, I used Games Workshop Abbadon Black on the palms of her hand to paint in the missing strip of cloth that combines with the strip on the back of her hand. In the show it is on both sides.

God that is beautiful. I really hope Hasbro take notice of this to release their own cell shaded version (at least to provide a more screen accurate skin tone and upper leg paint). Hell a 2-pack with a cel shaded her and Sinister or Jean would be an instabuy for me!

7:28 Hi Gundam nerd here, so the gundam pen can be erased easily using an eraser or a toothpick. Maybe alcohol if unpainted, but i don’t usually do this. Also, for the marker colors, brown works best on yellow/orange/red, grey on white, black on blue/hard detail. Hopefully this helps!!

what I think is funny is how hasbro release's figures with cell shading and most people freak out and hate bash them, then a customizer add cells shading to figures without them and then they freak out because they look so good!

Hasbro's cell shading is usually a bunch of nonsensical lines. We like cell shading, but only when it looks good. The new daredevil they did was very well received because the cell shading looked good.

As others have said, it's largely because Hasbro isn't very good at it, and the lines that have it aren't consistent. Look at something like Mondo for good cel shading. They did a good job with the recent Daredevil (though it's a little closer to comic inking than cel shading,) so hopefully they can learn from the positive reception of that how best to handle it. I personally don't like cel shading regardless, so I prefer when it's not used at all, but if you're going to do it you need to have a real vision for what direction the lighting is coming from, etc.

They refuse to take suggestions from the fans about most everything and try to rob you by making them expensive exclusives of some sort, Haslab, convention, deluxe multi pack, Hasbro pulse, etc. They know fans want them but they deliberately manufacture them in small quantities to call them limited release and triple the price.
