Ойын-сауық

I am getting the hang of cel shading. Rogue looks the best so far. But why does she have to keep falling!

The original figure already looks quite good. Yet the minor changes you made on her hair and the Cel-shading on the body have made the figure even look more natural. Awesome job!

The fixing of the hair is minor but the effect is magnificent.

If you want to make a color look matte, use matte clear mod-podge. It’s a pva glue that dries clear. Some of the best matte coat I’ve used, and you don’t have to color match. It’s also water based, so you can thin it with water and use a hair dryer to speed-dry it. I’ve tried spray paint, varnish, acrylics, and still mod podge is my favorite

Amazing work. I have never thought of customizing my action figures because I thought that they already looked good. Your video proved that these figures can be upgraded more. Thanks

Use Flight Stands for characters like that. I use acrylic stands with all my figures that 'can fly'. Much better than struggle with bad joint articulations

I hope you do the rest of this line!! It would be so cool to see this approach on the rest of these figures.

I don’t know if people have already suggested these, but there are these Gundam fineliners used for panel lines. They’re actual paint, so they are opaque and work great on plastic. They cost roughly the same as the Microns. There are also these Liquitex fluid mediums that make acrylic paints even more flowy without risking opaqueness. These are wonderful for reducing brush marks and they also give a great flat Matt finish to the paints.

To take the jacket off you just bend the arms back so you can slide the jacket off

The strand of red hair in the front looks really seamless when the entire reddish hair has been painted. Amazing!

The original Rogue looks great and pretty. Curious to see what Ken can improve. I like the improvement of the colour of the jacket. The dark green is perfect.

Sometimes when I modify my figures I let them sit in some hot/boiling soapy water for an hour then let them dry fully over night. They I start painting. What this does is loosen the plastic and dulls down that shininess that the figures tend to have.

Fantastic work! I’d love to see what you could do with the new Scarlet Spider. He’d go great with your other Spider-verse characters.

If you do gambit next , close the pin holes in the legs with modeling clay like you did with venom. That figure will look better as pinless. Also match the colors of the pins on both sides .

I would be better to install magnets there instead of just filling them. Then the options are endless because you can hide a paper thin metal sheet on your shelf and dress it up howeve

i'll be honest, i've never been a fan of 'cell shaded' action figures. I've never understood what the look was supposed to be. But seeing the 4 figures you augmented, I finally see it. I think it was the fact that most companies focus too much on shading and not on detailing. Yours are done way better. Thank you for finally putting out an example of what cell shaded action figures should look like. Keep up the good work with your videos.

Wow, absolutely incredible! Huge improvement. About the ankles, it might be worth heating them up with a hairdryer, then setting the ankles joint in-between the ratchet points it wants to go to, and letting it cool. Should make the ankles itself less picky about placements.

Gorgeous work on the cell shading and the colour correction/matifying. The felt pen looks a little sloppy to my eye, as it doesn’t have consistent opacity - particularly on the white hair for both Rogue and Storm. I wonder if you used it more sparingly, or perhaps a dark grey instead of black?
