MAD Ride in a Priceless Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa!!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We got the opportunity to go out in a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa thanks to the guys at @GTO_Engineering. The car is powered by a 3.0-litre V12 and goes very nicely as you can see!

Thanks for showing this video. It reminded me of the times when a friend of mine had a Ferrari 250 GTE which had been rebodied to resemble a 1957 250TR. I never drove it myself but I did have several passenger rides in it. The sound of a Ferrari V12 Colombo engine really is something special.

A very brave man driving a car that rare, that valuable, at those speeds, on those roads!!! But hey, it was built to be driven and not a garage queen!! 👍👍

My favorite car! Most unique front end! I cringed right at the beginning when he pushed the starter button a second time after it had already started and you heard that grind.
That collection of cars at the end was insane!
Just beautiful, sensory overload, my idea of what heaven looks like.
Your best video so far, this needs millions of views :)
enfin quelqu'un qui en fait profiter les autres sans mettre de musique, que du bruit de moteur,le pied total merci
This car has been made for the open road, not for modern days traffic. Despite of that, what a great impression of that V12 sound.
Truly a pleasure to watch! A very competent driver as this car should be enjoyed on the road. Awesome job!

Awesome. Thanks for posting. When I was a kid in the early 80’s my grandma bought me 1/12 scale 57 Testarossa and it was so awesome. I’m sure it’d be worth a bunch today. It was expensive toy even then. Like 50-$60. Super detailed and made of metal. I always dreamed I’d have the real thing one day lol. It wasn’t really a toy but more of a collector’s type thing. Had one of a ‘28 Mercedes too.

I suspect it was a Bburago (from Italy!), I think actually in 1/18 (a popular scale.) You’ll find them listed on EBay , maybe not all the time but definitely if you’re patient and they’re not especially expensive. I’m sure you’ll find a Mercedes too. Revell made a plastic kit of a 250GTO in 1/12. They come up at times too. And if you go to Monterey Car Week or some of the events at Goodwood you’ll see the real cars! 😀

I'd love to see it ran at goodwood or better yet pikes peak hill climb. It's a fitting race for it since there nothing much that could challenge it in it's class. The sound of the columbo 3.0 L v12 is almost as good as sex. I'm definitely jealous of the rider but I'd be scared to drive in most cities.

Old school Le Man cars are one of a kind aren’t they? The sounds they made were awesome and unique and thanks to the Forza franchise I know about them, every Ferrari race car is unique and beautiful I just wish the company wasn’t full of snobs who get offended when someone is willing to spend the money on them and then get bent out of shape when someone changes the color lol

It ain't even got a radio!?
most of the people in other cars dont even realized that this car is worth 20x their life earnings.
Ferrari used to be beautiful with flowing lines and absolutely nothing that wasn't needed. Nothing like the boxy plush things they build now. I think Enzo's thought was, "If it's not necessary, leave it out". Very small dash and no trim on the inside.

@@pianortd4800 research. This car was as the stickers suggest on The Modena Cento Ore in 2017 and was car number #73 a US entry driven by Smith/Smith. Car looks to have been fettled by GTO engineering in UK (as thats their property in the video) Car def entered the tour as there are pics of if on the tour with that numberplate and entry number Afaik they dont accept replicas (nor probably even toolroom recreations based on real Ferraris) on said tour so that means its likely to be a real one. Its then a case of looking at pics, researching, car is lhd so that whittles down the possibilities etc etc

Yeah, I doubt with the collection of cars in the garage when they pull in, that this car is a replica. Nice try though. With a 275 GTB on the lift, a 037 Stradale, 246 Dino, a AG6 Maserati, a 330 GTS, a Daytona, and another racing Ferrari in the back left corner, this car is real.
Do I spy a glimpse of a 365 California Spyder at the very end?

Why are Ferrari’s always blowing blue smoke out the exhaust?
@thephilpott2194

The owners will sometimes say 'it hasn't been used for a few months and the piston rings are sticking a little'. Which is believable. Or it could just be a Ferrari thing.

@@thephilpott2194Maybe, they put a bit of 2-stroke oil, because the unleaded fuel, being really dry, tend to dry out rubber fuel pipeline and gaskets, and also to wear out earlier the engine parts.

Original build Ferrari engines did not utilize valve stem seals. Current rebuilds should, but some owners are fanatics for originality. Nice to see this car has painted wheel rims and spokes, as that’s typically correct. Sure would like to see the block and chassis stamp.
