In the original game , Alfred was all-out psychopathic and evil, in this remake he seems more humane but a victim of his psychopathic tendencies, while Monika in the original game was the good mother who wanted to protect Aya, in this remake , she seems as the true antagonist.

Even in the original release, Monika was revealed to be a psycho too. Also, I won't say this is a remake but rather a remaster + DLC which fleshed out the characters' backstory even more.

the mother was bad in the original as well, she encouraged Aya's ks of small animals and hid the bodies from Alfred.

The guy was just addicted to killing, like people who do drugs, he felt like he can't live without it. Even if he knew it was wrong... Hence why he wanted to prevent Aya to become addicted to killing as well...

I think that salesman demon Ogre is the true last boss, bigger bad greater scope villain. Curse of the drevis family. Guess who had powers of giving spirits the curse powers use to torture others in the first place to see humans conflicts for fun.......

Man, if Maria only turns Aya into a doll and doesn't do any more experiments in the first bad ending, it's honestly the best ending as far as the other people in the world are concerned. Lol.

I personally think that the 1st bad ending is better, as Maria just turns Aya into a doll and might not do any other experiments, seeing how caring she was in her backstory to that one man, she may not continue Alfreds experiments. As for the ending where she turns into a doll, Alfred will still torture other people, causing suffering, towards himself and others.

She completed Alfred's goal, so why should she experiment further? She doesn't have the urge to kill, (it at least wasn't mentioned) so it would probably be over after her turning Aya into a dead doll.

I think Marie may have killed herself after turning Aya into a doll. She didn't want to be only and maybe death may have been a better (only) option for her to take.

Now I'm thinking of the crooked man series games and kinda would like to see them

@@TheEldritchVoidling yah it's actually called the strange man series with the crooked man, the sand man, the boogie man, and the hanged man in that order. If I remember right the characters are different in each game so I guess you can play/watch them in any order

I would love a sequel to the game, perhaps called Mad Daughter? Where we play as adult dio/Robin who finds out about Aya and her habits.

Idk why but what about i should be named ″Goodbye Daughter″? Aya is not the same cute daughter like in the past, but a crazy woman who is doing the same steps like her mother wanted and being crazy as her father, she isn't the same anymore and it would be great for a ending for this story, were we are going to stop the curse and stop Aya and for protect Aya for her horrible ending we kill her at the end for end it all and be able to protect everybody and Aya, stoping the Disagree of Drevis family So ″Goodbye Daughter″ should be a good name for a game like that

I wish we could have a sequel with Dio/Robin, going through his life and how hard it would be to survive with how disfigured he is now. And maybe even a timeline where he can stop Aya killing people, as I honestly think they may have a strong enough bond, at least so that Aya won't kill people without anesthesia.

Call me an optimist in this situation, but I don't think Maria would have continued Alfred's work. Yes, she's desensitized to it, numb and obedient, but...one of the first things we see her do when she's alone is heal that man. It's very purposeful, and I'd like to think that, without the Drevis Family influence, she'd back out of it, become good again. Like a few comments I've seen, however, I don't think that Maria would survive it indefinitely: I imagine she'd either end her life and burn the mansion down herself, or spend what time she has left trying to right the wrongs. Idk, though.

This game further reaffirms the fact that realistic dolls are TERRIFYING!

Yea, I think the cold touch mean he doesn't like her touch, but the warm heart means he likes the idea of family/mother, if he lived her romantically he wouldn't day her touch is cold lol

That's some grade a subversion where it turns out that bad ending 2 is actually the best ending, or at least you realize that once you play the blood dlc. Sure Aya dies and Alfred is left to carry on his work. But he knows his work is evil, so he will at least let "the curse" die with him.

Thonk it's the same with the Witch's house. The ending where you actually get caught by the witch ends up being the best one.

If you don't want your child growing up thinking murder is ok, then don't raise her in an environment that makes murder seem ok

your voice is very calming to listen to considering you talk about horror rpg games

So IF Maria does not keep up with the doctor's experiments, that kind of makes the first bad ending a true good ending since we all know Aya will keep on killing people.

Makes no sense. Maria protects Aya if the father attacks her but then turns around and kills Aya herself if he is taken which makes no sense cause she seemed to care more about protecting Aya if she was willing to kill the father to do it.

Aya might’ve never felt like she was helping her patients to begin with, which is why she disregarded Jean. She only sedated and kills Ill victims because it’s just easier to kill a a victim who can’t struggle or runaway

I know this isn't related to Mad Father but like can you play "Hide and Seek Story of Dorothy" and "Stranger [Story of Damien]" both are horror indie games they also take in the same universe, difference is Stranger gives more story and lore than Hide and Seek. In a Twisted sad way... Alfred did save Aya in that bad ending... Saved her from ending up like him... But, it's bad either way. As either way, people die...
