he played electric bass and keys, beats were often played in manually on mpc

@@shlongtown3000 He would often double his samples with Rhodes keyboard and/or Moog bass. You can hear it in a lot of his later beats. He would also recreate the sample if they couldn't clear it. Bilal talked about this in a few interviews. He also played drums as well
