He's never gonna stop giving Sis , which is remarkable in and of itself. Hasn't been done in the history of hip-hop!

The bass line is not underwater. It’s the xylophone / guitar / some keys filtered paired with a lfo and or wah pedal

You can literally hear and feel Dilla's soul in this beat and groove. His bass line sounds like it was ment to be in the sample. Soo funky.

@Adidas Man44 I never heard any of those, only ones where they used the same sample to much different effect. Pete's Smooth Sailing and Dilla's On the One for example, I think that's a rare case where I might prefer the pete rock one, aside from drums

His chords are the equivalent to your true love approaching you and truly giving u the feels you need . Dreams coming true everything. He makes music that literally anyone COULD make but don't because of biting rules.

Yep this beat definitely sounds like it was from his days on the SP. I think he officially switched over to the MPC 3000 after working on the Beats, Rhymes, Life album.

This beat is on the MPC3000, most if not all his stuff from 94-96 was SP1200. He kept on the 3000 since 98 (which is the year of this track)
