Proud Canadian here. Mack Hughes is a good lad. I enjoyed the coverage and specifically Smylie's golfer knowledge and fun stories he has. Need Kiz and SK full-time plz! 🔥👊
Such a cool interview getting to know the inside life of a PGA pro. Your show is bringing a new perspective that I look forward to each week. McKenzie Hughes was a great guy.
Fun fact: For Mac's first professional made cut, his caddie was a fella goes by the name of ME! Great guy, aside from the Leafs stuff.
Another good one Smylie! Much appreciated!
Do we get a link to the shank?😅
I enjoy getting to know the players, through this podcast. As a fan, I don't fall into the category of "fans just want players back together again". I wish the divide never would have happened. There are only a few players on LIV that I wish were back. I just don't see how the current model is sustainable.
“I think the fans aren’t really being rewarded” referring to the LIV/PGA wars. If not for LIV, Bryson’s PGA bullying and dislike would’ve continued to gather moss without him being allowed to start a KZread channel to show us who he really is. He wouldn’t have been able to get a team around him cheering him on in his bad times and showing they believe in him. He would’ve continued to be a lonely lone wolf on the PGA and we never would’ve got the guy we just saw this weekend. Leaving the PGA helped Bryson give back to the fans. So going back to your statement, Bryson this weekend is the best reward golf fans have had in years, so yes, fans are being rewarded. It’s how competition works. But don’t listen to me, listen to some guys who work for and plays for the PGA.
"rory gave it away" Imagine they play the last 3 hole in the same group. Bryson drives green, rory 3 putts, bryson sticks 17 and rory over green, bryson going crazy, both par, tense last hole, bryson in far worse shape on 1/2 shots, crowd thinking rory win or playoff, rory gets close, bryson SPLASH out of bunker to 4 feet, place is now going wild, rory misses!!!, bryson sinks it..... Bryson owned Rory on the last 3 holes at a US open. Rory sinks both putts if he's leading by 4-6 strokes..
huge hughesie guy now
Great interview. But who said Montreal is a great city lol. Might be the worst one in the whole country
No offence Smylie, but the US Open was an absolutely horrible TV experience. Great tournament, but NBC abeolutely butchered it in every way possible….

@@coldcallingfordummies No, its ultimately the tours fault. But he still works for NBC who put on a terrible show this weekend regardless

Simply put, it’s damn near impossible for a network to have “great coverage” when Jim Nantz is the competitor, if you will. People, like yourself, who aren’t used to hearing Brandel yap for 12 hours probably have the opinion that you do I would assume. The coverage was fine. Was it the best? No. The coverage was fine and the ratings have reflected that. We watch for the players but having Smylie, bones, Tirico on the mic was enough for me personally.

@@walkermcneill127 what does Jim Nantz have to do with commercial load and all the other issues that plagues the golf coverage in this era?
So bad and boring. No LPGA discussion and US Open scrapped under the rug. PGA tour sucks, but LIV Houston was the black hole of sucking.😅 PGA tour is the devil and hilarious that it is so, so boring with top player dead last in putting at US Open.😂 Time to hammer out a deal And stop the ridiculous domination. They are a monster probably created by tiger that has destroyed European tour And pretty much everything else it and made it all American centric and it's so pathetic.
