Mack Superliner V8 roadtrain, great sound !

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A few clips of roadtrains around Port Hedland WA, and a nice V8 Mack Superliner leaving Karratha truck stop on it's way to pick up a third trailer.
The side-tipper quads gross about 170 tonnes and are carting iron ore from the smaller mines which aren't big enough yet for rail haulage.
It's only a short clip because I was trying out my new JVC GZ- EX555 HD camera and external mic, it seems like it's not a bad camera.

@@Xyb3rTeCh not to mention the railroad loves to build bridges that barely let a legal size "lorrie" trailer underneath them with just inches to spare, prior to larger sizes for the future. & now everything is on air ride suspensions, & several of the guys where i used to work hit railroad overpasses with the top rear of the trailer because they're so low, these bridges are everywhere. & u know how the railroad hates trucking. They're in no hurry to comply with the newer government standards, in my town it took the RR 2.5 yrs just to replace one lousy 2 lane bridge to the new specs, forcing trucks to detour many miles out of route just to get to the other side of the bridge where access to the interstate super highway was.

There’s an easy answer to that. If you photograph chicks at the beach, do you take more pictures of a perfect 20 year old size 10 in a bikini or a 60 year old grandmother waring a tent. No one wants to see Euro crap and yes, they do have them up there.

There are a handful of FH16s on quads but the vast majority are Kenworths. The ones in the video are all new or only a few years old. The Mack is from the 1980s but it is an owner operator truck and is immaculate. The reasons the Volvos aren't popular on quads is because the radiators aren't big enough for the heat, they are too short so they can't carry much fuel, the sleepers are too small and generally they are too complicated with reliability problems up there. Scanias used to be fairly popular a few years ago but you hardly ever see them now.

You can still own certain fire arms no removable magazines no AR pattern weapons BUT they have found that the gun laws are not working and groups are lobbying to reform them .

That’s a bit sad Bob. You gave up your dream, just cause you couldn’t have an Ar15 here? 1: you don’t need them for personal protection here. 2: you can still hunt, the animals just get more of a sporting chance. 3: don’t you get bored of putting holes into inanimate objects at a range. 4: America and the guns will always be there to go back to if need be. Live your dream Bob. You’re missing out big time.

it is really a shame that you do not understand american gun and free speech rights. our rights are not given to us by the government..they are a right of humanity. the purpose of gun rights is to ultimately protect us from our government. look at what is happening in germany..the government there is evicting people from their homes and handing them over to migrants... if that sort of thing was tried in the USA there would be a civil war and the governments(federal, state, and local) know it. i do not own an AR..i own a ruger mini 14 that fires the same ammunition as the AR...AR is "deadly", my ruger is a "ranch rifle". i own several other weapons too. like a p-38 taken from a german general in belleau woods fall of 1918...japanses officers sword and pistol captured on iwo jima. a russian bolt action rifle captured in vietnam..and many others, including a brown bess musket taken from the british and used against them during the revolutionary war. heck,my wife owns a pistol and a shot gun herself. firearms are a family tradition dating back to before the USA was even a country. then there is your whole lack of free speech, people being banned from entering your country simply because of their opinions or writings. yet you welcome in totalitarian ideologies like islam with open arms. I am an american, my rights to speak do not end where your feelings begin. so, basicly, i enjoy chatting with aussies i know online, wonderful humor and a different perspective regarding current events...but i have no interest in becoming one. basicly, your rights in Australia are about the same as a convicted felon in the USA. i am not trying to be insulting, just explaining my point-of-view to you. Take care "down under"

oh ya..377 people were killed in the usa last year with rifles..646 were beaten to death with bare hands...the news is just shaming a firearm that can be used against the government....standard police body armor will not stop the round from a 5.56mm AR-15. if i was to engage U.N. or NATO troops that have invaded my country i would use my bolt action .270.....little faster travel rate then a 5.56 ar-15 round plus it has more hitting power and accuracy at range. has your news covered the fact that the usa loses 3 kids a day to texting while driving ? should america outlaw, umm, cellphones, or perhaps cars ? or perhaps raise the driving age to 21 ? i think not one final point...when that left wing radical shot up the republican baseball game and used an ar-15 while doing it..was the rifle mentioned then ? nope...didnt fit the narrative.
