I've not seen the Performa Plus display for years!! Dixons gave us the wrong display (the Performa Display which had a fuzzy 0.39dot pitch) with our Performa 450 (LCIII) back in 1993 but I didn't find out until I checked the original order on the Mac's box in the loft much later!

I will admit it’s not my favourite display, and I have been looking for a trinitron tube but also keep reminding myself i don’t have tons of space for CRTs!
What you need for the immovable spots on the case is a dremel. No one would ever misuse one of those

I’d recap the power supply since this Mac is from the 90’s and the capacitors have probably all leaked

I had checked the capacitors and they hadn’t leaked, I do monitor it however.
I remember those AppleDesign keyboards. Atrocious abortions they were. After the proper keyboards from the IIGS and MacII days.

They are certainly bad, even for mid/late 90s rubber domes.
Did the capacitors come in a kit or do I just have to purchase individually

I purchased them individually from Mouser as I wanted to know that they were genuine panasonics or at least decent brand. I think they do sell capacitors in kit form but I do not have a link unfortunately.
