Super excited to see the rest of the series and get this gear in my shop. I’m ready to give it a shot and turn some threads. Can’t thank you enough for this collaboration and help.

M6-0.75 is a fine thread used on a few of our motorcycle's engines and 5/8-11 is common to many angle grinder shafts... and nuts of course.

Interesting since today angle grinders come from China so metric threads. I have 3 of them and one very, very old and still metric.

The bushing with an included key to match the gears may be a part to carry spares for. A friend stopped by in a panic needing one whipped up to finish a part. It had broken in what appeared to be a sacrificial shear to save the gears.

Never thought of that but not sure what could cause such force to shear it off.

That is a good start on the gear. Lots of work left though. Thanks for the video keep on keeping on.
