Sure, he didn't write the chorus, he used what is called a sample in the chorus (I guess he was too lazy to think of his own, but if it helps, it helps 🤷🏼‍♂️) on the other hand, the verses were 100% written by the man, the myth, the legend, himself. MGK. Finally, the song has a message in it. Messages are one of the few things that has been missing in modern music these days and this song is about not giving up despite the obstacles set in your way.
