She reminded me of my Dadi when she was fit and fine. Today my Dadi isn't all together in her mind, so I do miss her ...my conversations with her...the food she cooked for me and the love that she still showers on me. Such love and care and fortitude...it's rarely seen in today's world. You and I Ranveer are one of those lucky ones who have such fond memories of our lives with our grandmothers.

Ranveer saab, don't know how to thank you, aj to emotional kara diya apne. Apni dadi ki yaad a gayi... You are superb..

haan ..Neither me.....Mere liye jo h MAA h....dadi bhi aur nani bhi..wese nani achi h par utna dadi allow nhi karti thi maa ko....woh toh bade hue toh gae like 12-13....tab woh bachpan wala nhi raha na...achi h wese bhi...Nani se toh kaafi hi

This is my first ever comment on KZread after watching videos for decades. I saw this dadi talk and it reminded me of my dadi. I was 7 when she passed away but this video reminded me of all things my dadi did for me and taught me. My fondest memories was of her and around the subject of food. Your channel is amazing. Thank for helping me remember her.

What a amazing way she is living her life. She has given means to enjoy life even if ups and down comes in a way. With such a delicious recipe she narated and your respect and love Chef you marked a place in millions of hearts. Ranveer Sir You pour love in whatever you do.

Daadi took over this entire episode by herself, such innocence and rawness of her blew me away. I miss my daadi after watching this video. Thank you for sharing this with us Ranbir. The earthiness in your cooking is why you are my favourite food presenter.

As soon as the video started.. she engaged everyone.. for the recipe I had to again watch the whole.. coz the first time.. I was all-over taken by bijji. Loads and lots of love and respect 😃☺️🤗

I have recently watched few episodes of Ranveer Brar's cooking.His dealing and talking style with the lady chefs is so down to earth and adorable. He has a restaurant in Brampton which I am yet to visit.

Ranveer I started seeing your episodes since last 6 months but those out of home episodes I liked for your professionalism, but kam me zayada during lockdown I started liking your episodes for the best human you portrayed. then I came across this maa ki baat with this dadi was super with her talks I started to visualize the unsaid words. You were so humble & natural .

This is not only a receipe..... This is a treasure of our tradition. Thanks mummJi for this. U have taught us.. So much. We can feel what u have struggled during partition... Humbleness is appreciated worldwide but indians take it to different level but none more then punjabis. You may know "Sewa :- Selfless service" being big part of sikh religion but even in sewa, "Jhutia di Sewa" and "Bhandeyea di Sewa" to be at the top because nothing teaches you humbleness and humility more than arranging shoes and washing dishes of strangers. Doing these two sewas is for sikhs what taking a bath in ganga is for hindus.

Ranveer Beta, I can not thank you enough for this delicious recipe of Achar. I am living in NY for the last 36 years. Since I came never had this Achar. Always felt why I never took recipe from my mother, aunts . Never searched the web either. When I saw this ,it reminded me of old times when it was prepared at home. I followed it and it tasted same. It is simple and well explained . Extend my thanks to my sister who taught me this on your show. God bless both of you.

Maine unhe kitchne ke bahar shayad hi dekha hai. na kabhi unhe sote dekha. jab beemar hui aakhir aakhir mein bas tab unhe baitha hua paaya. unhe khana banane mein behad maja aata tha. I think i get that from her. aur wo itni saari tarah tarah ki cheeze banati thi ke aaj mein soch ke hairan ho jaati hoon. 12 bachhe janne ke baad, itna kaam koi kaise kar sakta hai. baaki duniya ke motivational speakers ka gyan ek taraf aur daadi-naani ki baat ek taraf. pata nahi kyu, par inki baat dil mein bas jaati hai.
