What touched me is: He is a world class chef but when these innocent ladies come and say this is made like this and that’s like that ... he gracefully accepts it and let them be themselves in his kitchen... Such a simple and humble a human being this man is...for my mum he is ghar ka baccha...keep touching lives...👍👍👍❤️

My gujji heart is crying here.. Havent seen my mom in 2 years now...Missing her and all the love and food.. Theplas and atta sheera is my favorite too 😭 Thank you Ranveer for this amazing concept and series.. I have seen so many cookery shows...but the simplicity and warmth of this show just touched my heart. Keep going...

the chef really makes the guest feel so comfortable and welcome...looks like he is very down to earth

I am a Sikh woman from Ahmedabad. Brought up in a Gujarati neighborhood....I absolutely love Gujarati food and yes I can cook Gujarati food like a pro because of years of exposure and practice. My friends and our Gujju neighbors would enjoy our Punjabi food and we enjoyed Gujarati food. It has a simplicity and delicacy to it...infact I just made Doodhi na Thepla for my American husband and mother in law. I loved seeing Rajkot Aunty...she's so sweet.

This is you... a pure human. God Bless You. Is dramebaaz dunia mein sachche log bahot mushkil se milte hain. I found one...it's you. I cried a happy cry. I could feel you. I got involved in the video. What a feeling. You gave her immense importance. You are so down to earth. Unaware of the reality. When I got involved myself in your video I didn't realize. All of sudden...I wiped my rolling tears and realized ...Oh... silence.. paused the video and writing you this. Aah your upbringing... salute to your family. Trust me..I don't remember the name of the lady who is making this thepla... but for sure I tell you..lifetime she will cherish meeting you. Ranveer... I belong to middle middle class family.. I am poor in all the languages. Basically a South Indian (Kannadiga) settled in Assam Guwahati... wish to meet you if ever you visit Guwahati. Of course there are your type Hotels...for ex.. Taj Vivanta... Radisson Blu... Trust me... I still couldn't write my mind here. You have left me in some feeling which is unexplainable. I have a lot to tell you..but couldn't pen down. Hope you understand the silence...

I loved the language you used. I am not smart in English... I just know manageable English. Hope I will learn soon... And you rightly said "values"... it's very loud and clear... Chef Ranveer belongs to a sacred family... Mera shath shath Pranam to his family.

This series is like the much needed sunshine during monsoons (implying current situation in the world). The moms are so natural, so simple and ranveer is warmth and love! My stomach may be empty but my ❤️ is full!

Love this clip. In my early travels to the US as a student, I used to get dozens of Theplas and chilli pickles packed from a nearby shop in Colaba, Mumbai. They were so much better than the food served during the flight, plus they guaranteed me ready-to eat delicious meals for a few days in the dormitory as I slowly got over the jet lag. Only problem was keeping my roommate from devouring my Theplas! 💕🍽💕
