Buzzer continues until enough air power has built up to safely operate the air-assisted hydraulic brakes. If you fully drain the condensation from the tanks (like you are supposed to do) it can take a moment for the pressure to build up. I was lazy, I only drained once a week.

+C Proescher Adding air purging systems help too, does it all for you in a 90lb burst of air straight from the bottom of the tank periodically.

You can go on for to drain the Air Tanks every once of two weeks, but then again it depends also what Environment the Vehicle is exposed to itself.Three weeks at one is a bit too long.

Thats awesome I recently purchased an M923 from Govplanet and am buying the van part seperately. I plan on doing the same thing but it will be on a 5 ton chassis. Great video the truck looks clean and you all did a heck of a job on it! I like the solar panel top I had the same idea for mine down the road now I can do it with your application. Is it ok to get back with you all with questions?

The living area needs some design tips. If you are going to be driving a gas guzzler around it needs to have a lot more going for it... I drove that type of vehicle (manufactured by Jeep) in the Army and they are almost unbreakable but grossly overweight and over powered for the average motorhome

Super bad ass engine and vehicle but most annoying sounding, what I'm guessing is the airbrake pressure build up guage, ever, lol wow. clean that thing out man. purge the line. great work in progress though. good luck with it.

Super bad ass Engine? The Multi-Fuel never made a sufficient amount of HP and Torque and they would take a shit on you once they hit 60,000 Miles.Anything else for a Engine was better than the Multi-Fuel.I have been around the older Deuces enough and have a small fleet of them for Events and Parades. The M35A3,M36A3,and M109A4 with the 3116 Caterpillar is way better and long lived as a actual Diesel Engine should be.

The truck is a Deuce & A Half and the Tires have nothing to do with it.The NDT-900×20 Firestone Tires were used on all the Deuce and the 5 Ton Trucks. The M939 5 Ton Trucks had them early before the G177/1100×20 Tires and 49/1400×20 CTIS Tires before they had gotten the 53/1200×20 CTIS Tires. The M35A3,M36A3,and M109A4 as a 2 1/2 Ton had 48/1400×20 Tires with CTIS on them for a change.

Well, it can ford a 6' deep river, so just drive to a 4'dep area, and the engine plus 1/2 of the exhaust will be muffled cuzz they're under water. :-) ...or add electric-drive hubs on the middle axle and disconnect them from the 6x6 drivetrain, to get your final 1/2 mile on dry ground to setup your campsite "behind enemy lines" (on private property or whatever you needed silence for rofl.

No, that “Annoying” sound is there to keep soldiers alive. That sound is there to warn you you do not have breaks. It goes off when the air pressure is sufficient. And also if your driving this enormous vehicle with a engine like that at even medium speed then you would need a sound this loud to hear if your air pressure failed.

EffinObi I'd tend to doubt the claim of anywhere near 10-12 Mpg. I had a 19 foot Winnebago Class C on a Dodge chassis with a 360 engine with probably half the weight and frontal area drag and it was lucky to get 10mpg.
