Ok, this one is impressive. Walk inside and it's like a mini home, full kitchen, full shower, full bathroom in a small space and it does not look cluttered. Very impressive build.

I'm impressed with his ability to take credit for work he didn't actually do... and for lying about the total cost. He's got WAYYYY more than 100k into it. Mike bought the truck from a guy named David Pastecchi, a who did the fab work. And he paid over 100k for the truck!

Had the pleasure of seeing this rig in person in October 2022 at the Overland Expo East in Virginia. It's even more impressive in person and Mike was a great guy to talk with. Very impressive build

@@alanhat5252Well, he showed the tanks mounted under the truck? His fresh water tank is 85 gallons, as stated. It’s a high-water-cost shower, to be sure, but people have their priorities.

Holy cow. This is an insane build. This guy should be so proud, his rig is incredible and he’s just living his best life. Very wholesome, nice job!

This guy has built an EPIC rig. The ingenuity and thought he put into this is second to none.

That has to be the coolest, most unique rig I've ever seen. I loved the puzzle light in the kitchen. Actually, I love everything about it. Nobody would think for a minute that it was a house on wheels. It's absolutely captivating. We'll done and God bless!! ❤️😊

As a 90 year old lil ol lady....I thought I'd seen EVERYTHING. (Especially in the motorhome dept.) I have to go back and watch this video again.... WOW! Just WOW! Absolutely amazing. I want one. My grandaughter drove similar rigs in her tour of duty in Afghanistan. Wait until she sees this! Grandma's blown away!

One example among many others on this tube: Eva Zubeck and many others. As a couple, they are often the ones who keep the boat afloat. Just a point of view, based on 40 years of expeditions at all latitudes.

As a former cabinet maker, Ikea cabinets are well made, good choice, this has to be the best version I have ever seen, job well done indeed!

This large x-military truck is absolutely amazing. All of the internal and external features and storage is incredible. This home/transportation/recreational/vehicle has been well thought out. Thank you for showing all of the details.

I laughed out loud when he said he keeps a separate fridge for the beers right next to the driver seat.

I've never seen someone more ready to live in the apocalypse and damn it, he's doing it in style. HANDS DOWN, one of the BEST builds I've seen so far. He didn't compromise- no tiny shower, or tiny kitchen and fold out bed. He did it right and it looks AMAZING!

Best rig I've ever seen. And built for probably 10% of what a similar overlander would cost new.

AMAZING....Mike, his home and his spirit. An absolute labor of love. Loved it.

Wow! That is an amazing build, such clever features with storage. The interior is really stylish. I love seeing the tiny homes that are truly mobile and can go anywhere.

This is EXTRAORDINARY! AMAZING! I don't know what's more impressive, your efficiency and craftsmanship, or your eye for interior design. This is such a brilliant build. So awesome.

I installed Ikea cabinets in my house 15 years ago. They held up perfectly, look as good as the day I installed them. Although my house doesn't hit potholes.

He doesn't hit potholes hard, his interior fittings aren't secure enough. He definitely won't be jumping the truck like you see squaddies & racers do.

Cost to Value ratio, this is by far the best Over landing rig/ setup I’ve seen. The capability this bad boy has, with the Aesthetic and comfortability, is second to none. Looking forward to the day I can have my own.

Wow. I was all set to have a negative impression but was blown away with not only the amenities, but the execution, technically as well as artistically. And the layout is just as we'd do it, big kitchen, good size bathroom and desk. Only two niggling issues. I would have combined the shower and toilet into a wet bath to save space, but your execution is first class. Then the bike rack in back cuts down on exit angle. Again, a small issue and we wouldn't rock climb with our RV either. What I love most of all is the money saving ideas so tastefully done. The cab insulation for example looks OEM.

I like and appreciate living in a house and staying in one spot, but I'm always drawn to amazing drivable builds like this. Seems like such a cozy lifestyle

This is by far one of the most bad ass things I have ever seen. This dude definitely has a remarkable engineering mindset in how he makes all the mods look so perfect for the build and make perfect sense for him. I would love to go overlanding and even live in this thing. Heck, if I could pay him $100k to make me an exact duplicate of this, I would. I've driven so many M1097s and other LMTVs in the military but seeing one turned into this is awesome!

You took the 3rd seat out but I still got blown away. I'm impressed with how attractive everything is- and I wasn't even going to watch the video because I didn't think I'd like it- but the intro challenged me to let you prove it's greatness.

This is my favorite I think I’ve seen so far. I was totally not expecting the inside to look so warm and inviting. I love everything about this truck tho. I think I’d feel very safe in it. The only thing I think i wouldn’t like is that you cannot access the driver part from the back. You have to go outside. As a woman I wouldn’t like that. I’d want to be able to move if I felt unsafe and get out without having to go outside…but this vehicle just looks safe and it’s awesome and beautifully done.

That rig is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! My fav thing he said was “just get out there & do it.” My fav part of the rig was the rainfall shower. He inspired me to take my dream life by the reigns. Love from TX

I am impressed with Mike's craftsmanship. I cannot imagine anyone looking at any aspect of this and not presuming it to be a factory-built vehicle. Just amazingly well done!

That separate bathroom and shower is the best part of the build! No more wet-bath!

I found my role model, OMG. There was precisely 0 things I disliked about this build AND video. My mind is seriously blown... and I watch these kinds of things ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!! The fold out stairs, the light fixture that unfolds, the _real_ AC unit, the fact that he has a FULL desktop Mac with it's own designated place, the full shower, the full bed, the aesthetic of EVERYTHING.... simply perfect. Truly inspirational - customizing everything to his liking. I had to save this video to my _Life Goals_ playlist ❤ AND he has a OneWheel!!!! Living the dream.

This is incredible. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I’m impressed with all he fit inside. I would have never guessed looking at the exterior that you can fit a home inside, or that it would look so modern and pretty.

He has such a good sense of style as well as being so logical in his design.

I'v been watching motorhomes and expedition vehicles videos almost daily since 2020 and I can say this is definitely on my TOP 5. Amazing job, amazing! 👏👏

Holy crap, this build is fantastic. Well thought out and looks very functional. The kitchen is beautiful.

Winning pieces for me are the two sinks, the full sized shower and separate bathroom, the stove, and the full bed. He maximized what space he had and added that jutted out extension for his bedroom. What a beauty of a build it is.

You have done the best job I've ever seen. What a total rebuild. I could go on and on, but other comments have already done that. What a great military truck with such low mileage and how you softened it up to be so comfortable. A+++++

Awesome build! My only suggestion would be to leave one or two of the motorcycles with a trusted family member, because that would lighten up the load quite a bit. Just leave the one attached for your use! Otherwise, it seems like a real home, because nothing is lacking, and it looks so secure that he never has to worry about staying safe!

Ive watched this video a couple times and it always amazes me how much nicer this thing is then the million dollar ones that I really do not understand the value of.

My wife and I had a very similar solar/Aircon setup on our last rig and just in case anyone is curious, those little window units take very little power. I picked one up at Walmart for $150 so yeah, I agree they're a great solution and if it ever fails (they rarely ever do) you can easily afford a new one and there are Walmarts everywhere. It wasn't mentioned in this video, but we could run ours on 425 watts of power, on high cold (full blast) and since we had 1,200 watts on the roof it never even drew anything from the batteries. There was enough power left over that we could also run the microwave, watch TV, etc. all day long AND keep the batteries fully charged. We didn't start tapping into that reserve battery power until a couple hours before sunset but had plenty of juice to keep powering everything in the rig until around midnight every night and still had about 20% to 25% on the batteries by morning which with lithium is still well over 12 volts but then the sun comes up and begins charging them back up. Rinse and repeat. A decent-sized solar setup with lithium batteries is one of the best investments you can possibly make with an Overlanding rig. It's expensive at first, but SO well worth it!

This is gorgeous. Looks better and more roomy than some apartments I've seen in Northern cities. I could live in something like this relatively comfortably.

That overlander on the outside already looks good. These usually go for when done up as a motorhome, for around $500.000 USD, fully set up like this off road vehicle.

this is unbelievable, this guy have a full house inside this truck. I usually feel like the van life thing sacrifices a lot of things Im not willing to go without, but this is very impressive.

This man is so self sufficient and well suited to that vehicle and lifestyle. He did an amazing job with it. Everything he fit it into there is so perfect and beautifully appointed. I bet he could take a lot of orders if he wanted to. I love how durable his rolling house is, and it has everything. Excellent designer and engineer.
