Just fitted 2 of these panels to a 1000x1000mm quadrant shower cubicle. Firstly would like to say I love the look of the final fit, and chose the product because it’s waterproof, and easy to clean, cheaper to install than tiles and more practical without all the tanking or boarding out prior to filing . Only criticism is that, I would of liked the panel to be slightly wider, as by the time you chop off the tongue and groove when installing a 2 panels and then use the end cap and internal corner joint it doesn’t leave any margin for walls being out. Something which I had an issue with as the panel was level but had a 10mm gap at the top where the adjoining wall was not plumb. Other is, needs to be packaged better. First one I received was cracked in 2 places and had a hole in the back. The 2nd replacement also had some indentations, but Due to time constraints and the indentations being about level with the top of the shower cubicle I left it as there was also no guarantee a 3rd one was also not going to have damage. But these boards are very flexible due to their hollow structure, and seem to get bashed about a lot in transit by the couriers making them very fragile, all 3 I had... 2 originally purchased and 1 replacement also had damage to the tongue edge in some form or another. But as i trimmed this off it was no concern. But packaging does need improving significantly, and I would of liked them a bit wider to allow for like me when I used 2x panels 90 degrees apart to allow for the walls being out. Walls should always be plumb and this shouldn’t be an issue but mine wasn’t lol and it became an issue. Thanks for creating an otherwise great product though!

Hi Roger, I see that the t&g on those boards fit together nicely. Is it a common problem getting the t&g to close up on other types of shower panels such as dura panels?

Its a good product except the surface laquer breaks down & peels. I've had it in my ensuite shower for 6 years & the laquer coating is peeling in quite a few places...

What about fixing these on top of IWI (foiled PUR boards)? Presumably there is no reason why that shouldn't work?

Roger is this safe to stick to plasterboard or should you use plywood or something else.

Have been testing some silicone sealant on pvc panel and tray and getting mixed results. Is there a specific silicone sealant you would recommend to create that final seal between shower tray and the pvc panel?

I have faced the same problem. The cladding is fine but still the weak spot is the tray-cladding interface - which is only as strong as the sealant-tray interface and the sealant-cladding interface. Despite the sealant itself being flexible the interface areas sadly aren’t , due to low adhesion (even a dry interface) of the sealant to whatever it’s adhereing. I’ve wasted nearly a grand trying to rectify it. Wished I’d spent a grand on a single unit cubicle.

Its weak flimsy fragile sheet, but a lot of research went into the production of this I'm sure and it being lightweight helps with the installer and transport. If installed right, the maintenance free benefits are commendable, and the print effects are impressive. PVC production though releases some of the most devastating and damaging gases + dioxins of any material produced globally and for that reason, I won't consider any of these cladding products for my bathroom, due to less damaging existing alterantives.
