The mics are really good. This is the first video that I didn't notice a change when you change the mics.

Simple, clean and covered everything without any hypes. I just loved your unboxing!

Aaron I think it would be interesting to make a video showing some of the tests and real world use of a brand new $4k machine! For instance you could do some bench marks. Do some exports from what ever editing suites you use with a couple presets like Pro res, 4k, etc for a specific video length (10, 20 or 30 minutes) and give us a feel how this thing actually performs.

I watched this video on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The image from the MacBook camera was impressive and, in my opinion, plenty good enough for live streaming. Amazing machine!

'ALSO' another great video 😆 Im using a M1 MacBook Air and its more than enough for my needs. The New M1's must be immense. Is it the night and day difference between the M1 and M1 Max that they have alluded too? Would defo be interested to watch a desk setup, showing what equipment you use to put these quality videos together.

In some jobs 4K€ for a piece of equipment isn’t anything special. If you need something like this, you just pay the price because you need it. It’s not intended for regular people to buy it, just because they are used to buying the most expensive option from Apple lineup. Just get the air and you will be happy for years.

step 1: install Xcode step 2: Window -> Touch Bar step 3: use for all of 5 minutes, remember how the bar would s**t out randomly after a few months, close Xcode step 4: return to work

The microphones are surprisingly good!

Any idea what they'll do with the current 13"? For me that one is perfect and I don't need the extra power (and added thickness) of the 14/16". Would be cool to see the 120hz miniLED panel come to the current 13" with M1.

The mic and video is actually pretty good

This is such an incredibly powerful machine. It was the reason I made the switch, as a lifelong windows user to Mac. The m1 max means BUSINESS. All the work I used to do with windows, there is literally zero problems with this. I've seen first hand, Producers for movies/tv show productions use this for music and for editing scenes.

Hopefully you get review units of new apple products in the future. You very well deserve it, thanks for the videos!

I can assure that the fan doesn't spin up at all. I'm connected to Pro Display XDR. Probably going to keep it in my drawer since it won't get hot.

I’m waiting on delivery for the 16” M1 and thinking of upgrading my Apple thunderbolt display I’m currently using with my 15” 2018 MBPro. The Thunderbolt display works well with that machine, but I’m wondering if it will work with the new Mac? Anyone know?

Your video is great! Thank you. I’ve been using Apple since 1994. My first Mac purchase was Nov 1997 (Beige Tower 😂). My most recent computer (laptop) purchase was Dec 2014 (2012 13" unibody (Retina was too expensive at the time). This baby is what I have been waiting for also (32 ram 1TB). I just got back into photography and my old "baby" is hiding all the detail on its dim screen. Looking forward to it…2 more weeks!!! ❤

I want to get one of these! I have the 16” MBP i9 now but I’m concerned about having to buy FCPX & MS Office again. I purchased FCPX & Office from Apple when I purchased the MBP. Can I “move them over” to a new MBP?

I'm currently using my 2019 16" MacBook Pro with the i9 core and I enjoy it a plenty without feeling the need to upgrade. Its still lighting fast and does everything I need it to do. Maybe in a few years I'll upgrade.

I am still using my early 2015 Air 😂 apart from a couple of annoying vertical thin lines on the screen, everything runs smoothly and I have all ports I need! No need to upgrade as yet.😎

I'm upgrading to the same computer he shows here, but it's because I still use my mid-2014 13” MacBook Pro Retina, but you obviously don't need any upgrade. Just enjoy your machine.

Hi Aaron, Would you know how many VMs using parallels (lets say for example three - windows, ubuntu and another flavour linux) can be running on these without it slowing down, pushing the fan spins or hogging the memory ?

The thickness of the bottom is increased because of the HDMI port than last gen would have been to slim for a HDMI port and the screen might be thiccer to match the nice edge design like the iPhone 12 or maybe the screen is thiccer because of the high colour xdr display
