I'm not going to lie, I'd cry if I got that car. My dad had a '68 that color when I was growing up, I even learned to drive in it. IT was scary because all the stop signs were at the tops of hills and the GTO was stick-shift so I either rolled backwards to the last intersection or hopped right over the one in front of me. Either way, the tires didn't touch the intersection in front of me. My dad hit some money problems when I was in high school and had to sell the goat. It took me until I got back from Afghanistan to save enough money to buy it back, but it got sold to someone else in the meantime and we all lost track of it. I've never been able to get that car out of my mind. I still dream about cruising down the highway at night listening to Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone" just going wherever the octane would take you. I hope that car goes to a good home with someone who will appreciate it.

It's a beautiful car, but it doesn't have a backup camera or most now a day safety features so the insurance on driving it is going to be more than your rent.
