@@cycledrag Just the sheer power of the bikes always loved nitro Harleys and other nitro bikes they are amazing and the riders that have the guts to ride them I knew a nitro harley guy who is local we are from Bristol TN his name was Jake Silcox he had a sticker on his bike that read my nuts are titanium.

As a bike drag racer in the turbocharged bracket racing shorter is safer when you are going already over 220 mph in 1000 feet

@@cycledrag Most teams normally DO wipe it! If you closely watch the other teams you will see them do it. It is usually a "slick" type tire, and the water from the water box (used to be bleach in the bleach box back in the day) will make it slip. I have been around bike drags for a very long time (almost 45 years now) even before the old AHDRA days, and a slick type tire in front is very slick when wet. Can easily cause a front tire to react to frame torque and go sideways. I just hope the class lasts longer than AHDRA did! Sadly, the average shop, or rider, simply cannot afford to build these bikes, that, if anything, will kill off the class.

Amazing machinery! but what has changed over the years to get this far? there's only so large a valve can get, so big a turbo can get....what else is there? Quality of metals/parts? Fascinating stuff!

The engines have gotten bigger and better blocks is the big deal. If the engine doesn’t blow up halfway through every run they can start putting more power to it. Previously the 4 cyl bikes had to run a modified stock block.

@@cycledrag I first started attending drag races in the early 60's at Fremont Drag Strip in central CA, and can clearly remember when 200 mph was first attained by top fuel dragsters. Now, these motorcycles routinely make that mark look slow. I've ridden motorcycles for 66 years and can't even imagine what it must feel like to pilot one of these fire breathing beasts..... On another issue....I had a good friend who raced much slower vehicles on a circular track and once experienced a detached retina, had a very difficult time getting his retina reattached and his vision restored.....HOW does that not become an issue here with the accelleration so much more intense? And, you're welcome. BHE

nobody said anything about this event, what good is the internet if there is no communication, I would of drove up to see this in person, and the funny thing is I subscribed to the CycleDrag channel

@@cycledrag You're missing the point Jack. STUNNER told me (and others) that Larry didn't win before I started watching the video. I'm quite impressed with the travelling and reporting you do, that is not in question. What's not to be impressed about the quickest & fastest bikes in a sport that I watch, have participated in, officiated in and now crew for a bracket bike in? I just think that, like one of your other videos, THRILLER would have been a better word, to not give away any of the content until viewed. I enjoy all your videos, and follow and comment on the live feeds when I can. Keep it up!

Why isn’t TF Bike featuring in the main NHRA events? Pro stock bike dull in comparison

Would you rather watch pro stock cars or top fuel dragsters. So let’s air pro stock bikeS FS1 not Top Fuel motorcycle. I’ve been to a lot of NHRA events and when Top Fuel is done the fans follow them to the pits. FS1 could have gotten rid of the bullshit filler crap like lawn mower racing and gave the fans one of the most exciting drag racing there is, Top Fuel Motorcycle.

Any races at Route 66 from 2020 have not been sanctioned. NASCAR does not have any local racing going on during the year. You cannot have Nationals without local racing per NHRA. This track needs to close or start sportsman racing or sell it to someone who will run it right. You do not buy a track and automatically get a sanction without meeting NHRA criteria. Which includes having a full time program for local racing. CycleDrag is falling down on not getting the officals face about no local racing and having the Nationals.

Not much faster then the other bikes and a whole lot less of runs or clean runs, not a fan of nitro bikes

McBride had to much juice on that track 🤣. And we all know McBride really won that race. But his hole shot was bad that's all. And that part of racing and business. And hopefully it won't happen again next time in a important championship 🏆 run.🤨
