Si no me equivoco no es "atea" ni sobre un ateo, si no sobre los pueblos sometidos por la santa inquisición la cual trataba a los "no fieles" o a quienes les daba lap gana acusar de paganos pecadores, quitaba las tierras en nombre de los reyes y gustaban de condenar y ejecutar imponiendo la religión pero también la corrupción, de hecho éste tema me recuerda mucho o Guillén de Lampard, un Irlandés que estuvo en España antes de su paso importante hacia la "nueva España" y de hecho se le considera como el pionero revolucionario de México y que se enfrentó a la santa inquisición, a la esclavitud, el racismo, la discriminación y el racismo.

you guys, how did i miss this reaction? Anyway, this is a great band, how many good old memories, one of the first one i met doing folk and celtic metal at their finest, they started with this before this century begins. I knew them with their album GAIA from 2003, this song you heard is from before that, they had a video of this song with 187M views, totally deserve it. But my favorite songs are from GAIA album, they become eco-enviroment protesters and made many songs around that subject covering with lore and concept album, yeah Koba wasn't the first with all of this lore thing lol I recommend you _"Alma"_ and _"La Costa Del Silencio"._ Also there's a lot of spanish metal bands you need to check them out and meet them, like "Opera Magna" and "Rata Blanca" (this one is argentinian). But outside metal you will also find great latin rock bands like "Soda Stereo" and "Patricio Rey y Los Rendoditos de Ricota" and their famous song with the "bigger mosh in the world" (they called "el pogo más grande del mundo") _"Ji Ji Ji"_ no joking, that's the title of the song. lol Be ready for massive views ;)

@@dicodeclive it's not against religion, but against church. Not in a protestant way either. It's based of (or in honor of?) A failed movement from the 1500s known as "las revueltas de las comunas" a movement that was basically comunism before comunism (not exactly, but it's the best explanation i can give). People that support the movement are called "comuneros" and are still very much a thing. The movement originated because Carlos I of Spain and V of Germany (more commonly known as Charles V outside of Spain) and his succesor, Felipe II were pretty bad as kings of Spain (i'm talking REALLY bad, atleast regarding people from what's actually spain, not the HRE which was at the time also Spain) and also originated because the catholic church was the direct opposite of nice at this time (tho, contrary to popular belief, the spanish inquisition was probably the mildest in europe if we're looking at amount of people killed and not at thw execution methods) and people didn't like that, they liked catholic doctrines, but not the devs (church), so yeah, brief explanation of what the song is supposed to represent, hope you see this and find it interesting

I'm glad Eric liked it. These song is very old but the band is still together. So O choose this live because it still has like the new sound kinda vibe. I don't pay attention to Lyrics but to answer your question Alan, it's basically about common folks being fed up, having depression and feeling worthless. So the band is basically inviting them to the Pagan Party and they sing about the difference in class and God. So yeah 🤣 fun song. Great at parties.

I'm so late to this but I requested this specific video because of the orchestra. I like what they've done instrumentally with the song. I know Jose is beloved and I have recently requested a different song with him instead of Z.
