Hace muchos siglos el norte de España estuvo dominada por los celtas, aunque mago de Oz son de Madrid no es nada raro ver a un grupo con esas influencias en su música, violines, flautas o gaitas ya sea en en el rock como es el caso de grupo como en la música folk, otro ejemplo son los celtas cortos, un grupo muy bueno

Siento ayudarte la fiesta , pero la música celta no existe, nunca existió . Es un invento eminentemente irlandés que nada tiene que ver con los celtas . Solo fíjate, violines , guitarras , flautas incluso gaitas . Para cuando este tipo de instrumentos surgieron , los celtas llevaban como 1800 años sin existir. La llaman así ( música celta) porque nació en Irlanda y Gales .

Siento aguarte la fiesta a su vez, pero cual es la razón de que en zonas célticas en la actualidad como el oeste de las islas británicas, en la Bretaña francesa, en Galicia, Asturias...., se observe un folk particular y común con personalidad propia? ya sabemos que las gaitas las inventaron los romanos, pero esa personalidad céltica Atlántida creo que sin ser demasiado especialista en el tema, esta 18:21 18:22 ​@@jaimefernandezcastell8280

No te discuto el origen del término, pero es innegable que existen ciertas características que comparten todas las zonas en las que los celtas vivieron. Hay muchos instrumentos que ya sean con algunas variables son comunes en todas estas zonas y son herencia de esa cultura​@@jaimefernandezcastell8280

La influencia celta en Europa va desde Rumanía hasta Galicia e Irlanda pasando por Alemania, sur de Francia, las Baleares y muchísimos otros territorios en mayor o menor medida

Spain had many influences. It.belonged.to Rome as Hispania. They were romans,.not.only invaded.but part.of Rome, as in Gladiator. As a matter.of fact.the roman philosopher Seneca was spaniard. They had the moors, the.celtic, they had some culture named godos amd visigodos. Iberos as their name Iberia. Actually I am ignorant, but as a Latinamerican, I ve tried to know about them. We had in high school literature from Spain since middle ages, El Cid, to renaisaance, el Quijote, etc. I ve been in Spain and its such a beautiful country, and the food Wow.

I don't know if you've been told enough about how famous and important this guys are on the hispanic world of music. It's like if you speak about rock on english and say Metallica. Everybody and their dog rocked all of those songs, it was so mainstream it provoked the aparition of even cumbia cover versions, at some point you flipped a rock and there was mago. It produces this sensation where your pirate ancestors wanna take control of your body and go sailing the seven seas 🤣🏴🚣🏻

Also if you have not checked the banda Rata Blanca listen to La leyenda del Hada y el Mago... it's like Mago de Oz but more power metal...like mago combines with helloween or something

What do you mean by the Hispanic world?

I would like you to listen to the old version, sang by José Ändrea, the old Mägo de Oz vocalist. Even if Zeta was a good vocalist, José Ändrea had the best voice in all Spanish metal. He was really charismatic and made songs look much more powerfull.

Really, Mägo de Oz become popular when he was the vocalist (mainly because of him), but since it was in the pre-KZread era, it may be difficult to find his versions, but as thirdie who was a kid in the 90s, I can tell you that the real Mägo de Oz is the one in which José Ändrea was the vocalist, the group died when he left it, even if most KZread videos are from his inmediate departure (when the group had become more popular in Spanish America and was losing its influence in Spain).

Yeah thats another example of why media preservation is so important! Even in the movie world there are movies that never went any further than VHS! Another thing people should so with stuff like that is get it onto Archive Dot Org. There is so much music and live shows there that have never been heard by the majority of the public, I can only imagine what is still floating around out there destined to be lost to history!
