Insane yes, but also consider athletes in a higher weight class are also taller, hence harder to get weight up

Remember Tian Tao total over 400 in 96 and weighed low 90s ! Total 410 at 2019 world !

Why arent Meso and Parades competing

They really shouldnt put totals in for A session if they aren't lifting. Just put low total on. Weigh in. And let someone else have a go at A session. And that way people know. What a waste. This has been weightlifting lately unfortunately. So much set up and never any real battles. Everybody thought with the condensed weightclasses. There would be some wild battles. And that appears to not be happening. Always some reason. But wonder how much is they dont want to compete against each other until they absolutely have to ie Olympics. So disappointing

102kg my weight class in my day. Basically there snatching what I C&J

China should just slowly transfer one of the three 89s into 102s. It doesn’t make sense to have three top 5 89s. I can definitely see someone like Liu getting to 96-98 and pushing something like 180 230.

Prob only possible for Liu or li ? I think they're the two tall enough to do it. Tian was already a bit of a chungus at 96. Real talk though, these olympic categories suck. The max weight before superheavyweight being 102 is wack af

Seems like for this 102 kg competition the Korean broadcaster decided to add more cameras vs the other competitions since a couple Koreans were in the running to win?

i wish brands like nike adidas would give these guys there official shoe, sponser them! . like Nike Meso 1's

the commentator is the channel host, Seb. he is usually accompanied by Max Aita in commentating these competitions but it seems he couldn't make it out for AWC this time around

M-102 is so disappointing when compared to the other Olympic categories...

Why are there no Chinese lifters? Is it because no Chinese lifters at 102kg?

if america sponsored this sport, it would still take a generation to catch up with the far east. china has some of the greatest talents in this sport, and are some of the most dynamic. so fun to watch this! thank you lads!

America will never catch up when Football exists. All our strongest young athletes will always pursue a career in the NFL over weightlifting any day. Oh and also steroids

All thumbnails were made a week in advance because we were streaming live. He was on the start list but chose to not come out. We only found that out during the session.
