You are listening LS for its genre, or its meaning and amazing lyrics? Songs like Simple life (previous lp), or Im ready to fly from this lp.... i think Ronnie would be surprised what his brother made, and be proud of him. If you would be a real LS fan, you would never say such things. This is southern music, and does not matter whether it is rock or metal or whatever. This is Lynyrd Skynyrd, whether you like it or not. And they were, are, and will be the best southern band in the world. Period.

I call it Johnny Skynyrdfoot ...I can hear elements of Skynyrd ( Gary ) Blackfoot ( Rickey ) and of course Johnny Prior to Skynyrd. If you love all those bands why would you not love this? I know I do!

Lol at heavy metal comment..... Don't they have the Blackfoot dude on guitar now that might explain the heaviness. Why can't you call it heavy southern rock this is far far far from metal
