Jelly talks on joe rogan about how he was suppose to meet with Gary I'm the studio that day when he found out about his passing.....says one of his greatest moments in life was the last time he saw Gary he gave him his flowers ❤

Reading the word and praying, also faith without works is dead. You can not live a heavy sinful life and enter heaven, sure we are all sinners, we all fall short, of the glory of God. God does not tolerate sin, he hates it, he will not allow you to have eternal life in heaven, living that way.

I saw the original band when I was 17 at Soldier Field in 1977, at the Superbowl of Rock. Johnny might have been there, but it was his older brother Ronnie, singing at that time. Ted Nugent was the main attraction at that one, but Skynyrd rocked! 38 Special, Journey and Reo Speedwagon were there too.

It makes me so sad to see Gary lookin so frail but he was doing what he loved. I think he has always been underrated guitar player & people who try to play like Gary really can't duplicate his sound. He was always doing some weird trick to make his guitar sound different & playing slide as well with his Coricidin cold medicine neck that he learned from Duane Allman. I miss him so much. Definitely end of an Era, the Last Rebel & my Prince Charming was the last to fall. It is strange feeling

I saw Skynyrd at Fort Knox, Ky in 2005, 2 days after I graduated high school. Best night of my life, blistered on both thumbs holding lighters so long (before cell phone lights) lol

Never heard of the guy Jelly Roll, l almost scrolled by, but hey that guy can sing wow he can sing.. What also held this for me is Gary, his playing remains true Skynyryd in feel and sound. Now passed I will always miss his awesome guitar presence. For me Skynyrd finally passed with Gary, but the legacy, and the music will remain for all to enjoy.

Glad this was posted to see. Last dance for Gary as on March 5. Rossington, the last original member of the band who was 71 at the time, played his final gig on November 22, 2022, at Ryman Auditorium, Nashville.
