Just felt the need to offer a correction here: Lynda Carter definitely did NOT do all her own stunts. Carter's stunt double for this show, Jeannie Epper deserves all the credit for the amazing stunt work she performed. The woman should have gotten an Emmy for her role in Wonder Woman.

Lynda Carter is the best spokesperson DC Comics could ask for for their character of Wonder Woman! Lynda is very active on social media and rather than trying to live down her legacy, she thrives on it. On a show that could have just been a campy sleaze fest, she brought dignity to a character that could have just been forgettable. Her portrayal of Wonder Woman really took the show to the next level, even in it's decline. A very kind person that reaches out and tries to help with tons of causes to this day. Bravo! As to my favorite era, I think the 1940's season was the best. But the rest of the show wasn't terrible. Those episodes tend to stand out more than the Hulk episodes that came out at the same time.

Lynda Carter meant a great deal to me growing up. She embodied Wonder Woman so completely. The 1970's was a time when "girl power" was in its infancy. Lynda Carter (WW), Erin Gray (Buck Rogers in the 25th century), Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman), JoAnne Camron ( The secrets of Isis), and Connie Sellecca (The Greatest American Hero... I know, 1980's) were all very inspirational to me and other young women at the time. I would certainly say that when they changed the format (time frame) of "Wonder Woman", it drastically altered the ratings. I liked it better in season 1. I thought the performances were better, as the writing was better. I understand that a lot of it was about money. They did similar to "Buck Rogers" in season 2. Sadly not only cutting the budget, but dropping Erin Gray to not much more than a cheer leader for Buck Rogers. I hated to see that happen. While I did enjoy the performance of Gal Gadot in the recent WW movies, Lynda Carter will always be "MY" Wonder Woman. She'll always have a special place in my heart.

I visited for work several times when she was home and she was always gracious and friendly; seemed totally at ease with her natural beauty. I must say she had a way of putting others at ease with it as well. She always seemed like "just folks" and treated us the same.

-I read somewhere back in the 80’s that the reason she did not get the part was while still in her Wonder Woman days she started to misbehave. Not showing up to shoot episodes, or segments of the episodes, and she would leave early without finishing the episodes. Her then husband basically fed her ego, that she had arrived and was a major superstar and could do what she wanted. So, she became difficult to work with. The producers of Charlie’s Angels were the same guys associated with the Wonder Woman TV show and did not want to deal with the same situation so they told her that they could not cast her on Charlie’s Angels since she was too recognizable as Wonder Woman.

I definitely felt that Linda was a hero. When she became Princeton men only thought about Wonder Women. Fostering the idea that super hero’s are hard to recognize in normal life. I always felt her depiction of wonder women treated everyone fairly and gave everyone the chance to choose the right path. I am glad in life people gave her the same choice and respect.❤️💕🙏💕❤️

Lynda Carter was the epitome of beauty in the 70s. I never thought Farah was more beautiful. Lynda Carter could be fearless when called upon. Although she had a stunt double, the star sometimes had to perform under pressure. While filming a helicopter stunt the season two episode "Anschluss 77," it became clear that the double didn't really look like Carter in the shot. Not wanting to waste any time, the actress decided to do it herself, and held on to the aircraft as it lifted 50 feet in the air. Wonder Woman is a symbol for courage and compassion. Carter already proved the former by performing her own stunts, but she also embodied the latter. When the son of stunt double Jeannie Epper bragged to schoolmates that his mom was Wonder Woman, his classmates laughed at him. When Carter caught wind of the incident, she invited the class to the set so they could see Epper in action as the superhero.

Lynda Carter She thought of, and made this transformation spin unique and Iconic. I am Glad that she thought to add this one of a kind spin inclusionary component into the television series. In the Television series Wonder Woman escapes, finds a way out of some of the most difficult, precarious, perilous, troublesome, and dangerous situations. I am Glad every time Wonder Woman succeeded, and Overcome, and Persevered through the perilous circumstances. Lynda Carter, has indeed Persevered and Overcome in the exact same manner. Wonder Woman, is Lynda Carter, she is a Woman of Perseverance, Determination, Fortitude, Strength, aligned with Kindness, Caring, Love, Peace, and with the Truest Commitment for Humanity, despite the many difficult circumstances she has faced. Lynda Carter, she is Indeed Wonder Woman, she has Persevered, Endured, and Overcome, despite some difficulties, and challenging moments, she has been a inspiration in the Television Series, and indeed in her own actual Life, as well. Lynda Carter, She has Persevered with Strength, Endurance, and has overcome difficult moments, yet she has continued to be Motivating, Inspiring and Encouraging to many people. Lynda Carter is a very Resilient Woman...May she continue to Inspire and Encouraging, as she has been to so many. God Bless, Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman May God Keep her Safe, and give Joy, Happiness, Love Wellness, Good Health, Wellbeing and Peace May God Bless Lynda Carter, her children, and her entire Family. Growing up in that time, I always saw Linda Carter as a courageous and admirable person. She was strong and fought for justice. It was all i knew from the media which presented her as such. Now as a much grown person and revisiting people I looked up to as a child, she is still in my top 5 as I find much more to admire in her humanity and personality. Her kindness is one of her most powerful attributes that truly defines her. And of course, the tenacity to defend truth and stand by her husband until he was vindicated. She will always be in my eyes a bigger superhero than Wonderwoman itself. God bless you Linda!

5 stars across the board for this video!….best editing….flow…content…..narration……length……and of course the topic…….you are an absolute pro!!….thank u….. and yes I still have a Linda Carter heart shape since I was 4 years old…..some toddlers had Mickey Mouse and Spider-Man posters ….I had Wonder Woman above my race car tiny bed……….my parents were weirded out by the fact I saw your pic in some magazine and carefully, not sure how I did it,can’t remember, perfectly cut her picture out of the article without scissors of course……I think I used my tiny little fingers …….all my girlfriends in my teens and college years and still today are clones of her…….lol……this video reminded me of my “ type”! Lol…… visualize will materialize ………law of attraction is more real then we can comprehend………..we anything and everything…..be careful what u wish for……because magic is real! Cheers!
