I hadn't really heard about "van life" or the culture or why people do it before I started watching tiny home builds. I've watched many van builds because I love decor and seeing how people utilize small spaces. This van build is perfection and probably the only van I could actually see myself living in if I thought this lifestyle was for me. It's stunning.

I just discovered your channel. I agree with so many of the other comments. This is the best Van build I have ever seen. I like the ample seating and workspace. The elevator bed is amazing - I especially like that you can keep the bed made up. In so many builds, either the bed is fixed and is the only place to sit or it is a convertible that requires you to play Tetris with the seat cushions every night plus find a place to store the comforter and sheets during the day. Looking forward to hearing your experience of living in it in a few months! In terms of production values, your videos are very well-crafted and narrated, and the hosts are very clear and professional. Looking forward to watching others. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much!! Technically it would, but if you have any systems in the benches it becomes not feasable (our electrical system was in one bench). Also, the lower you make the benches, the less storage inside you have.

I like to think of myself as a perfectionist and love to go into detail but it’s hard to keep that mindset alone. When you have a partner to keep you going it can really make all the difference. I’m no expert on van build outs, but I really appreciate your attention to detail everywhere. So beautiful - especially Nicole’s artwork. People rarely invest the time it took both of you to create all the details in combination with function that are in this van. Next to Nicole’s artwork, my favorite thing is the rattan inserts in the upper cabinets for light to show thru. Genius!

Simply spectacular! wow the idea of microcement was brilliant. I've seen a lot of van projects but this one is really on point, I also liked the idea of two sinks, the bathroom is top, I confess that I liked it more at the front, but after Nicole's explanation I have to admit that it's much more practical having the bathroom in the back of the van. If you build a van it will be very similar to yours,.. Thank you for sharing this work of art!

Absolute best van build I've seen!!! wow, beautiful set up. I actually built a van out more for kids and fun stuff, an Im rethinking that van, and trying to get a vision of how I could incorporate this living room design to a more kid friendly, sporting van for surfing and long road trips with 3 boys.

Thanks so much for the kind words! We've also done a lot of thinking down that path. The living and sleeping space is totally fine for the 4 of you, but the main issue is seating 4 people safely for long drives. Putting in factory seats in the back just doesn't work with this layout. Also, simpler and more rugged finished would probably be a safer bet for your situation 😅
