What a beautiful airplane. Most of my time flying is in tail draggers of one kind or another. But never a Luscombe. Always wanted one of those. But as the years close in on me that dream may not be realized. Happy Flying!

I learned with an 11E Sedan. Keep your eyes out for fuel leaks in the wing roots and replace the fuel bladders if you have no clue to their age. Great planes and they hold up well for their age. They wouldn’t be up in the air still if they weren’t made reliably.

She’s coming along nicely buddy!!!! Can’t wait to see her in the air!!!

The Luscombe is a beautiful bird. My 0-200 in my Tailwind fires up with one blade. What is in this bird? Looking forward to the other videos. I'll look the others up. Doran Jaffas N625MS

I am left handed so when i pour a glass of red port wine i do it with my left hand.. and raise it to my lips with my left hand. That is how i remember , port is on the left. lol.

Can you provide me some details on the wind generator setup? I have a Luscombe 8a new to me and it came with the bracket and battery setup for a wind generator but no generator. Any help or details would be appreciated. Your Luscombe looks great.

Dave - I wish I could be of more help! I can find no maker or no identification on the generator. An old-timer at the airport told me it produces 10amps at 75MPH. It is wired to the buss bar. The lights run off the battery and the battery is then charged by the generator in flight. I'm happy to send you any pics you want if that will help you. email me at theav8sfly@gmail.com

How do you restore a certified airplane if your not a certified A&P do you pay someone to do an inspection after to get it certified airworthy? I'm assuming your aren't you might be I see restore "Projects" for sale.
