To be honest man I like them both, I think they are two sides of the same coin. Ive never seen two artist on the same wave length, views on government etc align. Its hard even comparing em because I fuck with them both BUT I do think Lupe is a better lyricist by far.Soul is like a slightly dumbed down version of Lu. I can listen to Soul's music and for the most part understand the message hes trying to convey with Lu I generally end up researching. For me listening to conscious hip hop is about learning and taking away something in the process. Not sure if that even answers the questions honestly

Late reply but maybe ‘around’ also works, because to go around something, for example, going ‘around’ in a merry go round, is to go in a circle lol, and circles being a theme in the song. Maybe I’m doing too much idk. It doesn’t work in the context literally but phonetically it plays into the circle theme also.
