Do it Gabe- get chantix, or do the patch. The gum is too easy to go back and forth with smoking. I know a lot of guys who also use the e-cigarettes, and its helped for them. Having had lung cancer, diagnosed in December 2018 ,as stage 3, NSCC of right lung. I've been through Chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy. I am now into stage 4, (Liver, and bone) In the past few months, I've been getting "cold sweats" around the area of pain. this includes: right chest area, under armpit, and on back, by right shoulder blade. Being treated for pain with Percocet 5.360 every 4 hours, and Gabapentin 10Mg 3 times per day. but not sure what's causing the cold sweats. When I wake up in the morning, the sheet is really wet from the upper part of my body. Anyone having similar "cold sweat" issues? Thanks, Ron

My father had a cancerous lobe removed from his lung in 2003 and endured radio- (but not chemo-/chemical) therapy. In April of '08 he was given 3 months to live, as the cancer had "returned." My sister sent him a case of noni juice (as her husband was given a maximum of 5 yrs. of life in 1999 concerning his stage-4 lymphatic cancer and was told by an acquaintance that noni cures cancer--he turned 80 in Aug. of '15 and is, apparently cancer-free}. I ordered B17, for my father, from California via Mexico. His morning coughing jags continued, although they were nothing like they were before the Laetrile {vitamin B17} and...he continued to smoke 10 cigarettes per day {not the 3 packs per day as he had for decades}. He died the evening of Mar. 23, 2011 (same day as had Liz Taylor). He was 4 days shy of 72. His mother turned 96 on 29 Sept. 2014. She passed away in her Hillsboro, Texas home 2/27/2015.

My doctor is awful and wont even see me, thinks im a hypocondriac... but i have a strange feeling in my chest like someone is sitting on my chest... i had covid tests and they were all negative, yet my doc just says to me your young, you have nothing to worry about and wont even order an xray for my chest just to to make sure... even for my own piece of mind.

I was diagnosed with tumor in left lung in 2013. In the first two biopsy reports a negative result came for malignancy. Thereafter in an advanced biopsy report positive result came. Since then I have undergone 6 chemotherapy and 36 radiation sittings which resulted in decrease in size of tumor. However, after 3 months there was an increase of 3 mm in size and also accumulated pleural fluid. This fluid was tapped out and in biopsy result was positive for malignant cells. It is extremely unlikely that you’d have lung cancer at 19. Cancer happens when your cells make a mistake during their regeneration process, smoking over a long period increases the amount of times your cells have to regenerate thereby increasing the chances that they can make a mistake and make a cancer cell. Naturally your body would destroy the cancer cell but sometimes it gets away. Basically, you haven’t had enough of the cell regeneration process for your cells to have had a real chance to actually mess up the regeneration process. Rest assured, your symptoms are most likely due to anxiety.

You're fine. Please stop worrying. Small amounts of blood occasionally appearing in your phlegm is not usually an indication of anything serious. It can be a burst vessel, among other things. especially if you have a nasty cough.

@@harveybarnes-lafferty2067 Yeah agreed mate. I'm only here because i keep thinking i have something serious. Shortness of breathe and shooting pain sometimes in the top of my back and sometimes in my chest what feels like my heart. Comes and goes, but definitely feel different.

I had flu b then a secondary pneumonia and my lungs still hurt when i wake up like a stabing pain i also smoked a pack a day for 10 years and im 25 do i have cancer i have a painful lump on my rib cage and the only thing that helps with that pain so far is corticosteroids like prednisone or nsaids witch agrovate my stomach i have gerd as well

One person diagnosed with asthma and bronchitis and COPD and emphysema .

I smoke very heavily which is 3 packs a week. I don't believe I can quit smoking nor do I have the desire to do so. To be honest, I am NOT scared of getting lung cancer because I have issues with mental health (depression and anxiety disorder).

I have had a violent cough for months, dizziness and really bad pains in my neck and chest.

. When I see this post I remember Dr. Osemuahu. NOT TRUE!!! I have a Master's Degree in Public Health and did a study on smoking cigarettes and lung cancer.....THERE is NO DIRECT link between smoking cigarettes and lung cancer. Just as many people who smoke and NEVER smoked suffer from lung cancer. Genetics, environment and lifestyle play a role. Just because you smoke DOES NOT mean you will get lung cancer. I am NOT a smoker but it really makes me angry when we blame smoking on lung cancer. I had a friend who died of lung cancer and never, never, ever smoked a day in her life. She developed Mesothelioma. Her father worked in the coal mines and she lived on a farm as an adult........I believe her genetics as well as her exposure to environmental pollution may have made her more prone to developing cancer. However, I am not saying it is the sole reason she developed cancer. Maybe she was just dealt those cards and lived in an environment that caused those cancer genes to express themselves later in her life......

Fear tactics by the FDA to increase profits as usual. That why they are pushing these vaccines so hard.. They know they've lost the marajuana war. Which also helps to prevent lung cancers. Most doctors have been brainwashed by their indoctrination into the medical community to push for profits for certain organizations like the FDA to continually keep people sick. Funny how it's called the food and drug administration. Fitting for how they've poisoned nosed our food too. Shame.. Disgusting people on this planet.

L zio . Don't be fooled. Even if there's some lung cancers that arise by other factors unrelated to smoking, it's unquestionable that smoking is a major risk factor for lung cancer. No doubt about it.

Zio than u need to re educate urself. Cigarette smoking is linked to lung cancer. Ur saying cigarette doesn't damage the lungs ?.
