@@sophia3568 "deer in the headlights" is a saying, it basically means "to be so surprised that you’re paralyzed." cause deers usually freeze up in fear when they see headlights approaching them before car crashes. billie is in a state of shock, she doesn't know what to do and she's frozen in awe because of the girl.

I love this song, I'm 49 and not part of her target audience obvs lol, but it's insanely catchy and I like that twangy 80s New Order like guitar, the dramatic pauses, and that bass player is amazing, he makes the guitar come alive, he's really good. I think it sounds even better live. In this day and age, it's nice that a girl can sing about another girl and it's OK, and it should be OK.

That's a comparison i would have never thought I'd see someone make. It's definitely not the sound. But I can sort of see where you're coming. Love Johnette more. But I suppose specifically if you watch the Jenny I read or everybody knows live performances there is a similarity in the way they perform the songs.
I’m 36 and I look up to her so much. I’m in AWE of her talent (and Finneas). She’s not just talented “for her generation” she’s one of the all time greats, it just happens to be happening now. And I don’t say that about literally anyone else.
