Tbh it's still pretty impressive he took a game in a b03. Shows it truly could have gone either way.

I think if marss would’ve just tried to wait out the time a bit more in game 1 especially towards the end of it he would’ve won the set. Game 2 sonix would’ve had his counterpick which he probably would’ve won on ps2 but then game 3 marss gets his counterpick probably going to hollow bastion and we saw how that went

Yeah I was speaking out loud watching that first set, " Please just camp him out!" With the lead he had and the timer close to zero playing against a character like Sonic it would have been the smart choice. But unfortunately it seemed like he wanted to get the kill and that cost him the set. Though the way he lost his third stock on the first game was also really unfortunate.

There were 15 seconds left on the clock. Time out games are fun to watch, especially with zss

Game 1 missed tech was everything. A rare set and very competitive! Both these characters have so many tools!

Honestly I think Marss beats him if they go back to any smaller stage Sonic he needed PS2 to run away more and get around Zss. it changed the match hardcore when you have a hit and run character.

Sonix is on my list of players to avoid watching honestly. Really sad that he plays sonic the way he does. I wish he would approach more and stop spin dash/fleeing every microscopic second of a game.

@@janswhatsupdoc if sonix cared about people watching him he would pick and play a more entertaining character. Sonix is a “competitor” not a “entertainer” when he is in tournaments. Put it really comes down to the fact that you don’t have to watch when you already know what to expect from sonix
