That’s because you presume that this religion out of all the many religions is the correct one. It’s sad to me when people think they know more than others and limit their life and experiences as a result.

@@drawitout If there was a a God, he defines himself. People can't just decide what or who God is. If there is a God... then let God be God. If you can't do that, if you have to define God according to your specifications, then it's a made-up God created by man. Then it's not a real God. Either there is a God, or there's none. There can't be so many gods... to fit every person's idea of God.

She is enjoying the money. I recall many years ago she said she wanted shiny brass door knobs but didn't want to have to polish them herself. She avoided the question. It was rags she came from the Gorbals. She was fourteen when she went to London to live with Marian (Miriam) Massey and she became her guardian. She had elocution lessons, but why does she keep changing to Scots accent! Bizarre.

Because she was forced to change her accent. It's a very difficult thing to suppress. It's basically shameful to have had to do this.

Maybe in some families,they might say it won't last or they want a better life,with Eric Faulkner ,another famous Scottish singer,his parents wanted Eric to be in an orchestra then saw it didn't happen moving to Falkirk,one of his mother's sister to take him in at fourteen,which is ilegal,takes him in after a while,then moves in with friends,now with having to work,mother and brother are interested now,his unqualified or,pushy,even a lady on the radio,with not having a wife now or his own family,there are the gold diggers,sad but true, should be relaxing,that the trouble,then they get sick,or die,don't think.
