As a fan of Luke I don't need to know anything, other than Luke came into my life and gave me a friendly face to watch. Only positives remain as now I have Fouad, Ben and the Shed. Happy Birthday Luke I'm going curl in the squat rack and elicit some hypertrophy.

Luke sandoes death inspired me to tell my mom how I am suicidal and depressed, so I donated to his family. I’m not saying this to brag but to show how he impacts people.

Something Luke said once has always stuck me, and it resonate because it made such sense to me: ‘I don’t think I know how to be happy’ ... I don’t want and it’s not our place to speculate. But that sticks with me, I think it says a lot.

I think anyone who has taken the time to listen and follow along with this story understands Luke was too aware of his own health for heart failure to be an accident. This technicality is to benefit those closest to him that may not understand his struggles to ease their minds from wondering. I think ultimately the conflicting statement came from a place of compassion for the hearts and minds of Luke’s children. Not to contradict or make anyone out to be a liar. I think it is important to understand “both can be true” and the importance of mental health for the rest of the community, while also acknowledging this new information doesn’t come from a place of ill intent.

  • @FouadAbiad

I think making Luke look like a steroid abusing bber and saying that was the cause of his heart attack comes from a place of ill intent regardless of who its trying to protect.

Fouad Abiad the only people who believe that aren’t real fans of Luke and they’re the same people who would have said the drugs made him commit suicide if that was listed as the cause of death. Unfortunately people suck, and they will believe whatever narrative fits their biases. There is an unfortunate stigma that comes with this lifestyle but for those who listened to Luke, you, Ben, and James they know the truth. They know Luke wasn’t reckless and he was very much in the drivers seat with his supplement use. Your protectiveness of his legacy is well placed and I believe you all are doing the right thing by him. There is just more at play than what we see at face value. You can’t change the opinions of people who are ignorant of the situation and want to believe they can blame PED’s for what happened. Speak your truth, spread your positivity, and fuck anyone who revels in your loss.

My 2 daughters mother passed from suicide nearly 2 yrs ago... They know it.. Her family knows it... She messaged one of my daughters and a couple of people about it just prior to finding her... It sucks...it's sad But my girls know it to be true.. She was bipolar and ADHD.. Tried it before... Her family though has decided to make that it was an accident and she didn't intend to do it... That's fine,it's a hard reality to understand...it annoys my littlest one, cuz she KNOWS they know and insist on acting like it was an accident... Families and loved ones struggle with this particular passing, it's stigma... Just thought I'd share... My girls know the mental struggles their Mom dealt with... And they, with counseling and time have healed(to the degree one can move forward) Best to you both And to his loved ones... Pain from loss loved ones is the hardest, worst, and most confusing to deal with TC

Luke used to train me and my ex partner in Essex, and we knew him for many years. He was never really close with his family, but had other issues which aren't fair to discuss. If you have half a brain its not hard to see what you could use to cause loss of consciousness and then ultimately heart failure. Either way its such a shame as the guy was hilarious and just fun to be around. Lastly he never used stupid amounts of drugs, I even pushed him to let me use more and he always said you don't need it - which was true.

Everyone responds differently though, some people get gyno from barely any ped usage and some can take huge amounts and never get gyno. For how easily luke put mass on compared to everyone else it would seem reasonable he would be more susceptible to heart hypertrophy compared to regular users. (not stating its what happened, just logically could see it being a case)

Sorry but I think waiting to release that post until his birthday is disgusting. Allowing his closest friends to grieve all this time, wondering if they could have prevented his death is truly terrible. It’s almost mean. It’s such a selfish and self-important mindset. I get it, his family don’t think they owe anyone an explanation but to hold onto that info and stay quiet just so they can make a ‘big announcement’ on his birthday is so, so weird.

As you are saying how both stories can be true at the same time, I believe I understand where you are coming from with that statement Fouad. To the extent he induced heart failure to lighten the story on his kids? In any event just his passing is heartbreaking, and he did inspire a great deal of people to better themselves! It definitely saddens me that this would be released on his birthday of all days. You can suffer heart failiure, in the event of taking your life, whichever way that is. I think given the original news and now this, you should be able to add 2+2 & understand what happened. Thats all thats needs to be known. Happy Birthday Luke ❤

Eventually the truth will come out about how he did it, I think a lot of us have heard the same thing. I completely respect and understand why Hoss and Ben won’t discuss it though, they knew and loved him personally so it makes sense that Ben doesn’t think fans have the “right” to know. I would feel the same way. RIP Luke the Legend!

Thank you to both Ben and Fouad. At the end of the day, the real cause does not matter. What matters is that the world lost an outstanding human, who touched the lives of many, and an even more outstanding father.

my condolences to Luke's friends and family. Good for you guys making a video, when it obviously was difficult. Don't let a social media post take away who Luke was to you! Keep on going! Stay strong Fouad and Ben! Love the content. Can't stop listening to it! Also I'm upset deontrai Campbell didn't go with your brand! He goes to my gym. That would have been awesome!

🙏🏻🙏🏻 well said and only right , I think anyone that knew or watched Luke on the podcasts knew how transparent he was about his ped use but even more about his insistence on being as healthy as you could possibly be being a professional bodybuilder .

I can’t imagine how hard it is for you guys and indeed his other friends and family. Like you’ve said in previous videos nothing will bring him back and the specific details of his death shouldn’t matter to his fans. What matters is remembering how great he was and how many he effected positively.

I hope when all this internet noise has calmed down, and you get some time to yourselves; you both take the time to appreciate what phenomenal friends you have been and that so few people out there have the integrity to approach such a difficult topic in such a difficult circumstance and deal with all of that whilst taking the harsh truths head-on yet still steadfastly protecting their friends privacy. You have both been remarkable sources of respect, dignity and loyalty at a time when such qualities seemed to be in extremely short supply. And as is so clear in Ben's case, despite the obvious pain and loss, nothing has stopped you stepping up to defend your friend. - its incredibly reassuring to see that people can still find the courage to find their best even at a time when things must feel so awful.

We all really need to be supportive of the boys here especially Ben. The statement was clearly a jab at the painful information Luke’s best mate had to release in the name of honesty. There will be character assassins going after him here but, we all know there was nothing to gain in Ben divulging the information other than being an honest person. Sadly, this may be a financial move or simply a way for the family to protect his children. Either way we need to let the man rest and give love to everyone affected by this loss of life.

I have only recently got into body building. A bit strange you might think for a fourty year old woman you think but hey. I came across Luke and Fouads podcast randomly at 3 am on KZread. Their honesty and humour had me hooked. Luke seems to have been the kind of guy that would stick up for the underdog. Honestly a genuinely nice guy who cared about his family his friends and his fans. Many people in the public eye forget where they came from, Luke always had his feet on the ground and whilst I'm sure he wasn't perfect he certainly had his head screwed on. I never knew him beyond KZread, the podcasts, Instagram posts and promotions for redcon1 still, when I found out he had passed away I felt a loss. As his friends I can only imagine what you are going through. Thank you for your honesty guys. Luke's fans appreciate it.
