And honestly they can compete outside the genre too. Another surprise for me was John Mayer back in the day when I saw him with Vlapton for the first time.

Keith is an absolute GEM in country music. The BEST guitar player - and has 30 years worth of INCREDIBLE hit songs to check out. Somebody Like You, Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me, Where the Blacktop Ends, Somewhere in my Car, Long Hot Summer are some of my top favourites. He is a rabbit hole you MUST go down. Cheers from Canada!

Keith Urban has lots of great songs, but probably my two favorites are "You'll Think of Me" and "Blue Ain't Your Color." I also really like the one that is titled something like "I Want to Cry."

Tonight I Wanna Cry, that's the one.

Luke's video for this is full of clips of him & his family at the lake fishing etc. He is an amazing human being. He lost both his sister & her husband & he took in her kids & raised them. Just walked one of the nieces down the aisle a couple years ago. And Keith is amazing on guitar & is famed for it. His voice is also amazing. And the best thing about country entertainers, is that they love & support each other & there are amazing duets between so many of them. I love all the collaborations. And country award show are packed with performances that mix the artists together & the ones in the audience are singing along with every word, if they know the song. One big family, not a cutthroat business.

I can’t remember if you’ve done it or not but “Start a band” is a great song showcasing his skills.

Keith has an amazing catalog of hits. I especially love his earlier stuff. Highly recommend his 2008 Greatest Hits and 2009 Defying Gravity. Every track is great!

That was just a small taste of what Keith can do. Back in about 2004 I was 16 years old, not really a fan of country, but a friend wanted me to go see Keith urban with her so I went reluctantly. I left that concert absolutely stunned. You have to see him live, it’s incredible. His energy is thru the roof and his guitar skills are right up there with the best guitar players in the world.

Two other great county guitarists are Vince Gill and Brad Paisley. I’ve seen them both in concert and they never disappoint.

Keith Urban has been my favourite musician for years. His lyrics, his guitar playing is amazing. Subscribing just because you appreciate Keith Urban!

Ive seen Luke Bryan in concert 5 time. You will not be disappointed. My Son was 28 & went with me. He is this quiet Country Boy that hardly speaks. He literally got uo on his chair & sang along when Luke belted out a Rap song!!!! I had no idea where my kid went! Luke is the BEST for your 1st Country Concert.

My old man once jumped a barbed wire fence with a bag full of doves wearing hip waders. He was getting em out of a little pond where they were having an outstanding hunt! (Over the limit!) His buddy couldn't believe he out ran the warden and made it over the fence!

Just saw Luke Bryan in concert, and literally the best concert I've ever seen, although Chris Stapleton is a close second. So, great first choice. Can't wait to hear about your experience. 😁🎶🎸

You mentioned one time about being on the fence regarding banjo music. Keith Urban has numerous songs playing the banjo (technically a "grango" because it has 6 strings instead of five) that may win you over, including Somebody Like You (make sure your wife is present if you do a reaction), Old Town Road and Gone Tomorrow. Or if you're really feeling adventurous Urban joined country rapper Brelan in a banjo rap song called Throw it Back.

Country music does not get the credit it deserves as far as FANTASTIC guitar players!!!! There are many!!!!!

Keith Urban been playing longer ❤ He is fantastic at guitar. The best in my opinion.

The video shows Bryan enjoying life in great outdoors with family and friends. The country star's wife Caroline, sons Bo and Tate, nephew Til, and his Buck Commander pals all feature in the clip. Luke's sister passed away and his brother inlaw passed away too. He took in 2 nieces and nephew adopted them.

I just saw Keith Urban in Las Vegas less than 2 weeks ago. What a great show that exemplified how much he likes performing, just as Luke Bryan does. Also, notice how it's not above Luke Bryan to move all the mic stands in the show. He doesn't need a stage hand to come out and get them. @Sebs I know you'll enjoy Luke Bryan but if you can also get to Vegas to see Keith Urban, he only has 8-10 shows left in his Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood.
