John Mayer was recovering from vocal cord surgery done before this event, which is why he looked at Keith to take the high notes when he was singing his chorus. They both were superb, this is beautiful.

Exactly! These two musical brother's are just sooooo great together. I WISH they went on tour together or at least record together cause I can't get enough. Their Crossroads show together was THE BEST!! I watch over & over. Just outstanding how they can do each other's music like it's their own. They're both so versatile and talented. Such a perfect pair these two AND bonus... Sooo easy on the eye too!!!

Hi Mr. Sebs: Keith Urban sells guitars and there is a how-to-play course that comes with it. It may be way below your level, but I thought I'd pass it along. I'm really enjoying your YT channel. How about Guitargasm Day? Keith Urban is my favourite but I also love Ritchie Blackmore who sings with his wife, Candice Night in their group Blackmore's Night, a folk rock band with medieval themes. Shadow of the Moon was their first album. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this group. Ritchie Blackmore is a legend, of course., a founding member of Deep Purple and Rainbow. He's known for jam style riffs, medieval, baroque, classical and bluesy influences. Thank you, Mr. Sebs! Waving hello, from Texas.

Eddy Van Hallen, fm the group Van Hallen...solo of "Eruption"--but ONLY the long and LIVE version!!! Anything where Slash (fm Guns n Roses) has a guitar in his hands. For some Old Time picking.... Roy Clark playing a guitar or banjo. Maybe something along the lines of "Fret Friday", "Strumming Saturday/Sunday", or "Mid-week Chords'...? I was pretty young when the Beatles released this song. And it the song that really turned me on to them..I paid attention more to their older stuff and then all the great music that came after. You could drop a few reactions of day doe an entire month...of just Beatles songs...and you'd barely scratch the surface. Another fun time spent with you listening to amazing music!

Also, another blues legend BB King pairs up live with Gary Moore on "The Thrill is Gone," and their guitar "dialogues" are truly iconic. Hope you'll give both a listen and reaction in the near future!

Wow!!! I watch many many many artists, especially some of the ones you have lately been checking out, SRV I saw 4 times before he passed, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Bonamossa, Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Buddy Guy, BB King, etc. and I have seen other clips of John Mayer but this was the first time with Keith Urban and this was spectacular. The thing that gets me with talented artists like this is how you seem to feel that they are channeling direct from heaven a little of the incredible beauty that we have experienced before and will again after but they have the ability to bring some of it to us now so we can be uplifted in a manner that just doesn’t seem possible any other way. Definitely check out SRV Life Without You live 9/21/1985, also Eric Clapton Wonderful Tonight Live. You will be blown away with the singer at the end, she is incredible and performs a vocal rendition of a guitar solo. Katie Kissoon is her name. Love you and your channel, you have a beautiful family and I am so happy for you and yours, prayers and blessings to you all.

You can learn licks from other guitar players, every lick you want........BUT the soul, the passion, the sincerity can't be taught. You have to identify with it, let the licks, passion, sincerity and notes sink in....then when you play, let that sincerity flow. Shut your eyes, and feel the flow of the music and let the flow of soul from inside you flow. Don't try to sound like this artist or that one, or they did this. Be still and let the sincerity of the soul flow.....don't try and force it or guide it.....just open up when you play....and it will be there and flow through you. Want to get better....play with a band, whatever the music, play with a band.....even if its a jam. The interaction of musicians is what makes everyone better. The freedom to screw up and yet work to get it right. To feel the drive and spirit of each other, and not be afraid to step out and let your spirit through the music soar! In the words of Bruce Lee: "Don't focus on the finger....or you will miss all that Heavenly glory." “The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.” ― Bruce Lee

Keith Urban is one of the top guitar players on the planet Sebs, and can play any style like a pro! Glenn Campbell called Keith "the best in the world." He is especially killer, like lightning in a bottle, when he gets together with John Mayer, who is a "master guitarist" himself, and that comes from the lips of Eric Clapton. There is a concert Keith and John did on Country Music Television back around 2010 that is here on KZread. Just let me find it and I'll put it for you here Sebs. Here it is. Tons of _excellent_ blues-rock and I listen to this concert fairly often. My ears almost fell off when I first discovered it! 🎸🎸🤯🙃👌💖💖💖 kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y3l20NaGmJeToJc.html&

It's not really a scale, it's a variation on a blues scale, related to a natural feeling, you go out of the scale, sometimes the notes tell you where to go if you get into that feeling mode.
