I have got 4 or 5 john Mayer songs on the channel, but they keep getting blocked, brad said

One thing that I really love about this performance is the solo. Because he's at Crossroads festival... a place FULL of guitar music fans/blues fans. He didn't go out there and do some crazy complex, fast, almost predictable blues solo... cuz that wouldn't have impressed the crowd. He took the melodic route, messing with the rhythm with him trailing the beat on certain parts rather than staying on top of it, kind of teasing the crowd with where he was gonna go next. He made his guitar sing rather than just going off to show his skill. This showed his passion and understanding of the music rather than "hi guitar fans, here's me showing off to u to show u just how badass I am at playing complex solos".

Glenn Burch Who cares if it was blues or not. The thing is, John Mayer if from a different planet..... pretty sure about that! What other guitarist could have possibly took on lead guitar/lead vocal for Dead and Company and pulled it off in short order? I believe the depths of John Mayer's talent level is still unknown.... still playing out. Love the cover BTW. Enjoyed the reaction,TY.

I think the electric guitar has reached the end of its road. You can't play much better than John does here, yet it's completely boring. Sad for me, because I play electric guitar.
