Willy and Lukas has gotten me through so many times I never thought I would. I was the angel flying to close to the ground, I died on 02/24/2020 of a massive cardiac arrest in my sister's arms. I was on life support for 5 days no brain activity. My first thought when awoke was Willy's angel flying to close to the ground, then I was so happy to hear Lukas's version, AMAZING that Lukas sounds so much like his dad. God bless both of these wonderful and AMAZING men. Thank you Willy and Lukas, you really did help save my life.

My best friends brother passed away in NYC yesterday. I will always think of this rendition of this appropriate song as a tribute to him and the four hundred and fifty four who joined him, on that day, Thank you sincerely Lukas.

As much as I adore your dads music, you have such a distinct sound that is so uniquely your own. Thank you for sharing your gift with us! Oh Lukas I am listening to this song two years after it was posted on KZread. But it goes on beyond what was happening in New York at the time of the coronavirus. The way you are singing it is touching my heart. Recently my husband of 43 years passed away in May and this song brings back so many memories. 😢 God bless you.

I had never heard of Lukas Nelson until the soundtrack of A STAR IS BORN was being discussed on social media. I just love him! What talent, and a beautiful spirit. That ‘tinge’ in his voice let’s you know: “Yes. Willie is his dad.” But then, the song goes on and his voice is definitely his own. An amazing talent, I never tire of hearing him.
