If any team knows how to be patient with Euro players & give them what they need to thrive in the NBA its the Dallas Mavericks... He couldn't have gone to a better team! People forget but as good as Dirk has been in the NBA he almost didn't make it... Donnie Nelson, Donnie Jr, Cuban they all did what it took for Dirk to succeed! Basically let Holger take over coaching Dirk in the NBA! If they have to do special things for Luka to succeed in the NBA Donnie jr. & Cuban will make it happen! Thats why I love why he went to Dallas! Most teams probably wouldn't come close to putting in the effort!

Well, seeing him now in the nba dominating, he’s just an crazy inspiration for so many people and young players like myself.

For us Europeans it was obvious that he should have gone no1, although Ayton might become really good and even an all star, he’s never going to be in doncics level, Americans just doubt the euroleauge too much for some reason yet they don’t understand the competition in the euroleauge is 20x better and harder than college, Even when there was an 18 year old who literally won everything in Europe they doubted him and picked him 3rd... What more could you want from a prospect at 18 years old.

Aleksandar Sulejic Everyone here aknowledges his Serbian heritage, it’s not even up for debate. But there are some that claim he is a Serb, which is obviously not the case. I’m partly of Serbian descent on my mothers side myself and I’m proud of that fact. Yet I do feel Slovenian and this is something that most Serbs sadly can’t comprehend. Same in Luka’s case.

europa is doing to this kid what lavar did to lonzo,setting him up for failure!.They are putting too much pressure on him,hes too young ,gotta leave him alone so that he develops calmly and reach his full potential,I do believe he will be great ,hes incredible talented but with all the hype europa media is putting on him ,american press will eat him alive in the first mistake! I hope he doesnt get drafted in the first positions ,tht would be the best for him ,the expectations will go down and he will b able to develops without the medias pressure.
