(4K, 2024) Lufthansa Airbus A320neo (D-AIJJ) startup and takeoff from Runway 8L at Munich, Germany, operating flight LH2476 to London Heathrow in March 2024, operated by Lufthansa CityLine. Skip to the takeoff at timestamp 02:30. I only realised as the engines were starting up that the Lufthansa A320neos are fitted with the Pratt & Whitney PW1133G engines, simply because they sounded different to what I was used to - so this unexpectedly became my first flight on any A320neo with this engine type! I do think they are quieter than the CFM LEAP-1A engines on other A320neos! We were 20 minutes late pushing back because the flight crew were late coming from another flight, and the Captain said that we needed to hurry because we were in-danger of missing our slot at Heathrow - as a result, we had a very fast taxi speed and we started rolling in the runway very quickly!
