Aer Lingus operates one weekly service to Munich each Winter, from late December to the end of March, and it is the only Aer Lingus service to Germany from Cork year-round. It does mean I'll have to travel back to Cork via an alternative route unfortunately. Some really nice countryside views beneath the clouds as we approached the airport from the East. This is my first time in Munich - it was a cloudy, wet morning and we made our way down to the ground but had stopped raining by the time we were parked. I had booked this flight for during 2020 and then Covid hit, so was delighted to be travelling to Munich at-last for the first time!
